Greetings to the various homonims – and heteronims- who are up on this beautiful Saturday morning. I feel that it is my duty to make you as miserable as I am today, and what better way to accomplish this than bringing you news stories? I will not be around much, since I’m spending the rest of the morning driving to Absentia, but I assume you don’t need adult supervision. Don’t make me stop this car and turn around!
Today teems with birthdays, but I’ll only mention a few: my favorite 19th century physicist; my favorite 19th century photographer; my favorite 19th century philosopher (though he worked in both the 19th and 20th); one of the Jews of the Ponderosa; and inarguably the greatest third baseman ever, and (I can personally attest) an amazingly nice, articulate, and engaging guy.
Oops. “Missed it by THAT much!”
Notice how the schools in less affluent communities that didn’t get on board the Team Blue train have dropped off the radar. Whatever happened to that bald chick?
Labour, totally not antisemitic. Bonus appearance by that blonde chick who chubbed out in an Israeli prison. No hunger strikes for her since then, either.
Jesus fucking christ, is there ANYTHING left that won’t drum up outrage?
“Oh, ho, ho, dose silly shvartzes!”
Desperate times call for particularly stupid proposals.
Fucking dinosaurs and their fucking cars.
Awww, they’re not even trying to pretend any more.
If the heat doesn’t kill us all first…
Old Guy Music today is one that amuses the hell out of me. I always thought Alice Cooper was an underrated band because of the extreme gimmickry. The same gimmickry that made them popular. In any case, here’s a song from one of their early albums, where they decided to show everyone that they could Prog rock with the best of them. And yeah, they pretty much did.
Maxwell Smart unavailable for comment.
Reference for the old guys here.
I’m not that old, and my dad made me watch Get Smart. . . also a law school pal of mine uses it in his “catch phrase.”
Two Boy Scouts and a German Shepherd?
Should have prefaced with “Would you believe…”
So I guess he lost his shoe?
I missed it by that much.
I didn’t know until recently that Mel Brooks was a big part of that show.
Yes, the show was created by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, who you may remember hosted SNL multiple times during the Belushi era. They also did a lot if the writing. I remember loving it as a kid, I even had Get Smart comic books.
The United Nations secretary general, António Guterres, talked of the “climate crisis” in September, adding: “We face a direct existential threat.” The climate scientist Prof Hans Joachim Schellnhuber, a former adviser to Angela Merkel, the EU and the pope, also uses “climate crisis”.
Fuck the UN.
Good morning.
I’m still peeved Trump hasn’t just evicted the General Assembly from the UN and turned the building into a hotel or casino.
There was lots of discussions about getting new tenants for the new World Trade Center in NYC. The concern was that nobody wanted to be there because of a possible terrorist attack.
At the same time UN has been clamoring for a new building as the old one is legitimately in need of significant modernization and renovation.
The joke here is that we move the UN to the top of the WTC thereby making it immune for attack.
“At the same time UN has been clamoring for a new building as the old one is legitimately in need of significant modernization and renovation.”
Build it in Palestine, wherever that is, because the UN seems to love Palestinians, whatever they are, so why not?
The UN Building. What a joke. They turned it into low rent housing, it’s a dump.
That would’ve been another great idea, Sensei.
And Grummun, thanks for reminding me to sit down and watch Heavy metal.
Alice Cooper was a pretty solid band before all the silly gimmickry. Not great but pretty good. My Brother had one of their early albums.
I saw him in concert. He put’s on a great show. He really plays to the crowd.
I saw him about a year ago. It was a good show. I understand why some people called his act a modern day Vaudeville act.
Cripes. All this time I thought that Brooks Robinson was a Black dude! Back then I watched N.L. (Expos) when we could get it.
“He batted and threw right-handed, though he was a natural left-hander.”
I found this bizarre, I’m a south paw and I’d starve to death if I broke my left hand. Obviously a 3rd baseman is going to be right handed but the skills to be able to switch are absolutely astounding. Looking at his bio I instantly knew how old he is. Great ball player, you are a lucky guy, OM, to have met hi/know him.
There was a reason he was known as The Human Vacuum Cleaner. It was amazing to see a guy who ran that slowly make insanely quick fielding plays.
The highlights from the 1970 World Series make a perfect how-to manual for playing third.
I loved my orange and black #5 t-shirt.
(My little league jerseys were pretty much always #1. I was always the scrawniest kid on every team, not big and strapping like I am now…)
This is why I love this place! https://youtu.be/TZNIKZdoehE
Jesus fucking christ, is there ANYTHING left that won’t drum up outrage?
Nazi roof racks? – I had no idea!
“Jesus fucking christ, is there ANYTHING left that won’t drum up outrage?”
Pancake jokes are literally genocide.

FFS. That’s funny.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Yakima planted this story… [rustles tinfoil]
Wait, that one link is about cnn reporting on fake news?
Instead of “climate change” the preferred terms are “climate emergency, crisis or breakdown”
Because the vapid chattering masses have moved on from climate to other outrages, we need to dial up the alarmism
and “global heating” is favoured over “global warming”,
Does “heating” imply a greater magnitude than “warming”?
although the original terms are not banned.
Because banning language would make us look all Big-Brothery, and we wouldn’t want that.
How about Global Scorching or Global Boiling?
“although the original terms are not banned”……yet
“Super turbo global heat death” has a good ring to it. Also, could be an album ??
Good appeal to Millenials too.
Heh, I featured Wayne and Garth air guitaring!
Judas Priest and Motorhead collaboration.
That would be badass:)
Someone get a hold of Rob and Lemmy and make this happen!
Seriously.
Better get Lou Reed instead, Lemmy is, uh, having an off year.
MikeS in case you haven’t heard the news Lemmy is… Uh… permanently unavailable.
Well in that case, get Bonn Scott instead.
“The oceans are, like, literally boiling!”
Safety glasses ON!
Morrison Appears Bound for Surprise Victory
If projections hold for Scott Morrison, Australia’s prime minister, it would confound expectations that the country’s voters were ready for a change in course after six years of tumultuous conservative leadership.
Reactions by the supporters of the losing party are … unsurprising.
Someone round up those comfort dogs from Florida – there’s another job to do.
I’m looking for info on what happened. I’m out of the loop on Aus (DRINK!) politics. Was it an upset? Based on the lefties on twitter crying about racism, white supremacy, coal, climate change, etc., I’m guessing this was a very good result.
The leftist (Labour) party was in the lead in the polls, 52% support. I’m guessing people never thought polls could be wrong.
All I know is according to polls, Biden is a lock on the Presidency. Just like herself.
I hope Biden wins the primary and then loses the election. I would cackle like an old witch.
I’m always like two or three PM’s behind there. Been so many.
I discovered a rope hanging from the ceiling of my garage with a loop tied on the end, where we hang the gambrel when we skin a deer. First thought was “I’d better take this down before I’m turned in to the authorities” but then I remembered no one ever comes to see me any way*.
If there are any Glibs passing through northern MN and need a rest stop my cabin is empty and needs to be used. Draw line from Duluth to Fargo and you’ll be in the garage. Fishing/golf/rest available. All are welcome, 1 BR but kids can sleep on the floor.
* There may be a reason
I see you found the rope from the Smollett case. All jokes aside, cabins are great.
but then I remembered no one ever comes to see me any way
Jesus, Mom, get off my back. Fine, I’ll come and visit.
Wifey knew an old dude from her photography days that lived alone on his lakeside farm. We went out there one time and he was showing us around. We get to the hog barn and there’s this hang-man’s noose tied to the rafters. Buddy quips up “What the hell’s that for?” The old fucker never missed a beat and said “Sometimes I feel a little down…”
Procrustes, is that you?
Srsly, though – generous offer, dude.
He’s collecting honey harvesters. He might present as a sweet old man but seriously, he’s a Glib in Grampa’s clothing.
Brooks was there?
1 BR but kids can sleep on the floor.
You’ve never vacationed with OMWC have you?
Does it include unlimited bug spray?
“Greetings to the various homonims – and heteronims- who are up on this beautiful Saturday morning.”
Looks to be. Yesterday was gorgeous in the Balmer, hon. A little warm at 83, but still. Looks like it will only hit 76 today, excellent day for walking, but 90 on Monday.
We’re going to 86 today. I’ll take it.
The future Mrs. Pi has $200 of flowers and mulch planned out.
Yard work in north Balmer County today. But its going to be delightful out.
Thanks to the Glib that recommended Hy’s Steakhouse in Vancouver. Great service, really neat restaurant, and the filet was cooked to perfection.
Also ate at a place called El Santo in New Westminster. Omg the pork shank was cooked sous vide and served with cilantro rice. Damn that was good. Had a cocktail with the owner. Nice guy with a great story.
Um yeah… Vancouver! https://youtu.be/mkWkjNcU-Kc
I used to run away to Vancouver about every three years and come back exhausted. Twice for concerts, twice for chicks and once for an early onset mid-life crisis. It just never panned out. Home is where the heart is.
Better link. Ah, to be 17 again…https://youtu.be/TZNIKZdoehE
Ah, to be 47 again .https://youtu.be/m38EdJeM6dU..
Joey Shithead is a politician, now.
I would take “47 again” over “17 again” every day of the week.
It’s a better tune but it would be nice to run like a gazelle, again.
At 47 I was still running consistent 7 minute miles so I would take that over faster and stupid at 17.
I can trot but I’ve actually been working on it. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that something at work went awry and when I tried to sprint I couldn’t. My entire sporting life was built on speed and I failed. My body forgot how to run.
Hitting the range this morning. Looking to buy a new toy. Unfortunately, I seem to be on some sort of list (no legitimate reason for it) which means I won’t get to take it home and will have to go back Wednesday to pick it up.

What kind of sighting options are you considering?
I got a good deal on an EoTech 512 a while back ($339 from Brownells) so I’ll put that on it. Probably get some 45 degree offset iron sights and regular backup iron sights as well at some point.
I have the EoTech 512 too. I like the ability to take standard batteries as well as rechargeable in the same format.
I find it a little top-heavy for smaller guns – YMMV. I ended up putting it on a MKA-1919 semi-auto 12 gauge.
Check to ensure the line of sight for the 45 degree BUIS will clear the EoTech. You may have noticed it is a little wide in the base.
Thanks for the tip! Yeah, It’s very bulky. I was going to put it on my 870 tactical but never got around to it.
Yeah, the MKA-1919 comes with a Picatiny rail top right out of the box so running the EoTech on it was too easy. I chopped the buttstock off and grafted on a billet aluminum stock on a folding hinge. That makes it easy for transport in small bags which don’t scream “GUN” when I’m checking in to a hotel.
That sounds sweet:)
Cool.
Unexpected dental expenses have kept me from impulse buying recently.
Yeah, I have other things I should be spending money on, but I got a promotion and raise this week and it’s been a while so what the hell:)
?
Rock on. *Hits the Jefferson’s theme music*
🙂
Congrats!
Thanks!
Living in the people’s republic of NJ most variants of the the black gun with the thing that goes up are forbidden.
What’s the deal with the “pistol” designation? I’m assuming it puts it through some rule at either the state or federal level that it couldn’t pass if it was a long gun.
Well it’s a 10.5″ barrel so that would be an SBR and therefore require the $200 stamp EXCEPT it doesn’t have a stock, it has a “stabilizing brace” so it’s a pistol:) If I were to put a “regular stock” on it, I would be breaking the law unless I did the paperwork.
Gather ’round children.
A firearm with a fixed stock and a barrel length less than 16″ is considered an SBR (short-barreled rifle) and subject to beaucoup NFA regulation.
However, back a few years ago, some folks make a “wrist stabilizing brace” designed to be used with AR “pistols” (barrel <16", but no stock) to stabilize your arm during shooting. These braces looked mysteriously like stocks and people began shouldering them. The ATF has flip-flopped on what exactly these things are, but current policy states that as long as your AR is initially built/bought as a pistol, putting such a brace on and shouldering it is ok. It's also a nice way around Blue State rifle regulation since it's not a rifle, it's technically a pistol.
Do it man. I have an AR pistol and I love it; super fun. I have the shockwave brace:
https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/recoil-parts/recoil-hardware/ar-15-kak-shockwave-blade-pistol-brace-prod96038.aspx
Yeah, I pretty much made the decision to pull the trigger on it:)
I have an AR handgun – 10.5″ barrel – but in 6.8X43mm. The 6.8 is designed to be optimal in shorter barrels so I don’t lose that much velocity over my 16″ barreled carbine.
Being an old fogey it has the traditional A2 iron sights. I have been thinking to get another upper with the flat-top and cheese-grater hand guards then run a red-dot sight. Too many other projects waiting for the few days I have back in the US as it is…
I seem to be on some sort of list (no legitimate reason for it)
::looks at the website JB is posting on::
mm hmm. No legitimate reason, indeed.
You may want to consider the 7.62, since the 5.56 may need a longer barrel to stabilize. I went with the 300 blackout because I wanted to use a suppressor. If you aren’t going to suppress the 7.62 is a cheaper round.
Unfortunately, I seem to be on some sort of list (no legitimate reason for it) which means I won’t get to take it home and will have to go back Wednesday to pick it up.
Sorry.
My impulse buy from GunBroker should arrive today with the mail.
Huh. USPS’ tracking information says the post man tried delivering at about the time I posted that message. They claim I wasn’t home, so they left a notice. I’ll need arrange another delivery or go to the post office Monday to pick it up in person.
One thing I love about this crowd is when someone posts here he will be “hitting the range this morning” it doesn’t mean golf.
You’re right, those links did make me miserable. Fortunately, we have something to cure that.
https://thechive.com/2019/05/17/last-call-knocker-night-special-99-photos/
Actually, it’s more like two somethings.
2 has a certain something.
3 is photoshopped badly.
I believe you are correct, but I’m shocked women would stoop to deceptive practices when beauty is involved.
It’s almost as if they implicitly (or explicitly) realize that their evolutionary purpose is to arouse men rather than metaphorically castrate them. Off to the feminist reeducation camp!
It is an odd dynamic of women who dominate men and then have no respect for them when they fold. I get the testing one mettle, but why stay with the dude after he fails?
‘member Titanic when she clings to the floating door? ‘member what happened to Jack? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
I didn’t watch that movie
My guess? These kinds of women come to understand (consciously or not) that most men will walk after being pushed that far. They stick with these wimps because they need a wimp who will stick around after being dominated.
I dunno, life was pretty sweet when I was failing upward.
Those dogs from Stoneman are just like the other students.
For the record, the article by the dumb broad about the “Nazi” asteroid translates the name, Ultima Thule, as “Thule Alone.”
As a Latin nerd, “Furthest Thule” would be a much better translation. The term actually refers to a mysterious island north of Britain that was considered at the literal edge world, thus making it totally appropriate as a name for a far-away galaxy or asteroid.
A simple use of Google Translate/Wikipedia might have revealed these non-sinister connotations to the author but I suppose it’s too much to ask in this day of compulsive fact-checking.
No shit. I can’t even…
The term “Ultima Thule” had a place in common discourse, well, at least among the educated, centuries before the Nazis became a “thing”. Just because they or their lackey, wanna bee followers have adopted the term doesn’t in any way or form make the term a belonging to the Nazis. I’m sure the Nazis spoke about the sky and the oceans – does that mean we cannot use the words for “sky” or “ocean” anymore?
Are you suggesting that all those swastika at the temples where you live aren’t showing support for the Third Reich?
I seriously hope you are not asking me to care.
Heck no!
Nazis believed that 2+2=4. We need to get rid of math.
Snopes rates this mostly Nazi.
So we can’t use a Latin phrase, because the Nazi’s did. Does that mean we also can’t use words like National and Socialists?
Better ban the German language. I hear they used tons of those words.
Scheiße!
I find it funny that people who view National Socialism as the sum of all things evil fail to see that much of progressivism, like Nazism, is based in no small part on eugenics; which both ideaologies embrace albeit in different forms.
Hell, I find it hilarious that, of all the political factions in the US today the progressives’ brand of authoritarian, socialist, tightly-policed lock-step ideology comes closest to actual Nazism as practiced in the Third Reich 80 years ago. And all the while they bandy around the term “Nazi” like a derogatory epithet.
I’m waiting for Bern or AOC or one of the other clowns to let slip that they want “national socialism” – you know they go through training to stop it but one of them has to break at some point.
That would be fun trick for a reporter to pull. “Do you think socialism is a good thing, nationally?” AOC: “Yes”. reporter: “So you support national socialism?” AOC: “Of course!”
This here’s why I don’t use The Instabook or the Faceagram!

GET OFF MY LAWN
I write things on here that I would never dream of saying out loud in respectable company. I was on Facebook for awhile but the hungry divorcees kinda scared me off of that platform. Bitch, if you liked me that much back in high school where was the quim when I really needed it? It doesn’t help things when they post stuff to your public wall that your wife and daughters get to read.
I think that is part of the thrill. Stirring up drama. Just this morning my wife was leaving for a conference and she asked what I was going to do. I said watch a movie. She asked if I was taking my girlfriend. I said yes. Then she asked what else we were going to do and I said Fuck. Then she got mad. I think she needs those rage endorphins so I give them to her.
Women. Can’t live with ’em, can’t murder ’em then feed to corpse to gators.
*crumples map to green swamp*
Yeeeeaaahhhh.
Whodda thunk that there are months of the year when alligators don’t feed at all?
You’re a good Dad.
After starting my new gig this is my first real weekend off. I thought Indiana had dumb Blue Laws but the alcohol policies in this country are beyond fucked. Can buy between 11am-2pm and from 5pm-midnight. I have zero understanding of why. But today is Buddha’s birthday so no buying of anything. Damn good I had a backup stash. On the plus side I did my first visa extension. As expected, they don’t give a fuck and only want your $35. I didn’t even fully fill out the paperwork and was out in an hour.
OMWC–You met/talked with Brooks Robinson? I’m gonna need at least a summary when you have time. In other 3B news, Kris Bryant hit a home run in each of the 7th, 8th and 9th innings (the 12th player to hit three HR in consecutive innings). He’s on a role and so are we. Baez is doing great and my boy Hendricks is teaching kids that everything ain’t about velocity.
I hope everyone is doing well. With my living in Thailand and my clients living mostly in Eastern Europe my commenting/writing schedule is all out of whack. But I actually do have a job interview/Q&A that would make me a full-time travel writer. I have to see things develop.
Like a blind man at an orgy, I’m gonna have to feel my way through.
Like a midget at a urinal, I’m gonna have to stand on my toes.
How are the anxiety meds working out? How do you get refills there?
Things have been going really well. I’m not sure exactly how to get a refill, but I have plenty left and being able to live in my own apartment (with Lady) and not working at my own school has chilled me out substantially. Medical tourism is huge here and with my prescription it really shouldn’t be an issue when it comes up.
That was a boiling cauldron that I needed to escape. The move in with Lady has been so smooth. We need money, but our home life is working out better than we could possibly imagine.
Desperate for money you say. Are you willing to install some cameras around your home?
Should I monetize my virile sex life with my South African hottie? Is that the suggestion?
Maybe?
Suggestion is such a weak word. I’m practically demanding it.
Anxiety? Because of all the snakes that travel to Thailand?
Hmmm…Thailand…Eastern Europe… I’m noticing an awesomely disturbing trend here! J/K Evan keep up the good fight for those of us that are housebound!
I was back in Bangkok for a few days recently – after having been away for (what I realized had been) about 20 years.
It was nice to have more than one beer as an option. It sucked that there seemed to be only two common brews available and a few “micro breweries” – which I was warned away from (by other round-eyes) as possibly dangerous/lethal.
Please educate us about the viable beer selections you are aware of there.
I hope you are enjoying your new adventure.
I played ping pong in ding dang once.
This is my first time living in the really touristy part of town. I’ve lived in Asia for 10 years and, yeah, I want my creature comforts and access to food and delights.
One perk of this…is a place called Beer Lab (in Chiang Mai). They have probably 300 beers available, easily, and offer tasty western and Thai food. Local beer is pretty blah, but they import shit from all over. Last time I was there I had an Egyptian Ale (the name escapes me) which was delicious.
Also, my standard liquor option is about $2 a pint. I spend money on good beer and cheap liquor. It’s no-shit called Black Cock. So in front of my Coloured Lady I have to ask for two Black Cocks when we go to 7-11. It’s hilarious.
Thanks for your well-wishes! So far I am loving the experience, even though it is hot as fuck here during the day.
Warning Rant: So my wife is Latina and her good friend is Jamaican Indian. Anyways, they often use the term ethnic people to refer to non-whites. I finally told them that I found it offensive because it implies to whites aren’t an ethnicity and gives the impression that non-whites are authentic, while whites are generic. They had honestly never considered it. They still use the term, even though admitting I had a valid point.
*returns to drinking milk stout*
That’s what comes of thinking in terms of “race”, which is based largely on skin tone and a couple arbitrary physical features. “Black” and “white” both encompass widely disparate groups of people across huge swathes of territory. Even terms like “hispanic” and “Latin” don’t really work well. “Indian”, “First Peoples”, and “Native American” obviously have some pretty serious issues in terms of accuracy, too.
The thing is your wife is probably thinking of WASPs as the sort of baseline white person, which is only true in North America to the extent that it’s true at all. And really that’s just an offshoot of middle-class English from a couple hundred years ago, which would be pretty damn ethnic to anyone from anywhere else.
My buddy was in the Caribbean on vacation and bought me a bottle of Big Black Dick’s Rum and his wife was too embarrassed to be with him when he asked for it. He said the sales lady just called it “BBD” and gave him stink eye for giggling like a Jr. High kid.
*I gave the bottle to my father and he used it to annoy my mother at countless dinner parties.
For breakfast:
http://www.darwinbrewingco.com/beers/llama-mama-milk-stout/
Alas, now that the mercury is pushing past 70 during the day I’m done with Stouts, Porter’s, scotch ale, etc for the season. Which is too bad because I love them. The problem is that beer out of season just isn’t quite the same. A stout will never taste as good on a sunny, 80° day as it does on an overcast, windy 40° day.
I get the idea of drinking with the season, but I saw this at the liquor store and had to give it a try. I picked up Silly Sour too, because I can’t always find it, so I have it to drink in the pool.
Nice. I was feeling tortured the other day. I’m out of state right now and saw all kinds of dark beer I wanted to try in the grocery store. I think I need to start stock piling beer for a rainy day the way u do ammo
They sell beer on links in spam cans?
*mind blown*
Dude, your girlfriend is totes hot.
“…she was ON THE RUN….”
Hey, I remember that movie.
That’s a great movie. You can’t make anything like that dees days
Oh my god, can you imagine pitching that to a studio? “Ok, so, there’s this guy who has an affair with a woman, and when she ends it he kidnaps her, cuts her limbs off, and sticks her in a box because he loves her so much. Hello? You still there?”
Wow, I’m pleasantly surprised to learn that Pernell Roberts repped the DMV in his early life, particularly to find he’s a UMD alum and brings some sort of positive association with Olney.
UMD alum
Go Bulldogs!!
Fear the Turtle, sucka! Especially if you’re on the football team…
I think most of us saw this switch to “climate crisis” coming.
the use of …“climate science denier” rather than “climate sceptic”
This is disgusting, and also highly inaccurate. Skeptics aren’t rejecting all climate science, they are skeptical of the AGW theory and the often outlandish predicted effects of warming.
Even the IPCC says they don’t have enough data to make any predictions, but if you site them you are the enemy of science.
Uffda. Got to go clean the house. Today is my family’s traditional May BBQ and it is raining. When the weather is nice, everyone sits on the deck and I only need to really clean the corridor from the deck to the bathroom. But with rain, people will spread out in my house.
I’m hosting a GOT finale party tomorrow so I should be cleaning. Instead I’m drinking and wasting time here.
I also just bought a S&W 380ez from Grab A Gun because I felt like it. My wife “needs” an automatic.
Curious how she likes it. I’m think about replacing my OG Bodyguard with a laserless safetyless M&P Bodyguard.
Ill let you know.
But is time spent here really ever wasted?
/be careful how you reply to the site admin
*dead pan*
….time here is never wasted, ma’am.
Right answer! You may stay.
I’m getting ready to take a dog to the vet for a bunch of what I hope are just fatty tumors because she’s getting up there in years. They’ve started to appear more frequently, which is worrying, but hopefully the solution is somewhere between “Don’t worry about it” and “Extremely affordable minor surgery”, and not “Buy your dog a steak and hug her because she’s got about two weeks”.
Anyway, a completely unrelated topic: whatever happened to that caravan of immigrants from south of the border who were going to do a sort of passive-aggressive invasion? Is that still a thing? Weren’t there babies in cages in Arizona or something? I’m assuming all that’s been cleared up because all CNN can talk about it Robert Mueller.
I think they are sending them to Florida now.
Godspeed to your pupper. It sucks when they go away. Wifey is away until this afternoon so I might spoil the brats and let them sleep in the people bed one last time.
Good luck with your pup.
Also, a tish jealous that you have a vet open on Saturdays.
Hope all goes well at the vet.
/hides backyard baby cages
Good luck. Mine has a bunch of those subcutaneous fatty tumors. They are harmless and my vet said he wouldn’t do anything unless they grew to a point that they were affecting movement.
I hope that’s all your pup has.
Good luck.
Good luck!
“We want to ensure that we are being scientifically precise…”
The Guardian. The Guardian wants to be scientifically precise….by using politically loaded terms. Sure they do. Sounds legit.
Waylon Watch: Still dead.
I don’t see a body.
Don’t criticize. She’s a good hearted woman.
I have been assured that the body buried there is, in fact, his.
I have an ongoing project documenting the items people leave there.
I almost hesitate to ask what’s the weirdest/unusual item left there.
Not weird, but pretty awesome.
Ol’ Waylon was 4 days younger than me, Freddy Fender 1 week older. RIP Boys
Nice of you to leave the pinwheel and PBR.
Buried in the same cemetery: Ernesto Miranda.
Does anyone leave anything at his grave?
No. I brushed some dirt off of it the day I took a photo.
He was a thoroughly reprehensible human.
He certainly was.
Did you know the man who murdered him got away with it -in part- because he was read his rights and kept his mouth shut?
Is that a door mat?
It’s a really nice stone. Some other photos show the images on it really well.
Breakfast
