Good morning my Glibs and Gliberinas! And what a glorious morning it always is!
Democrats, Republicans, and Trump all came together to put us even further into debt.
This may alleviate the spending a little.

I don’t know if this falls under the Mandela Effect, but I do know for 100% certainty that a children’s movie about a genie existed in the 90s that starred Sinbad.
That’s all I got for today. I’ll leave you with a song and move along with my day.

No one should be automatically enrolled in any welfare program.
Why do you hate children and minorities?
I guess that means Tlaib will be handing her salary over to teh poors? She certainly isn’t earning it.

No, you see she is not rich, it’s everyone who makes more than her who’s rich and needs to be knocked down.
Never a dull moment
Warplanes from four countries faced off Tuesday in a chaotic and unprecedented confrontation above a small, disputed island off the coast of South Korea and Japan.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff issued a statement claiming they had fired more than 300 warning shots at a Russian A-50 command and control military aircraft early Tuesday morning after it had twice violated the country’s airspace, the first such incident between the countries.
Moscow furiously denied Seoul’s account of the encounter, claiming that South Korean military jets had dangerously intercepted two of its bombers during a planned flight over neutral waters.
But in a statement Tuesday afternoon, Japan’s Ministry of Defense backed up South Korea’s claims, saying the A-50 had flown over the islands and that Tokyo had scrambled fighters to intercept.
In a further complication, both South Korea and Japan said that two Chinese H-6 bombers had joined the Russian military aircraft on sorties through the region as well.
The confrontation took place over disputed islands in the East Sea, also known as the Sea of Japan, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
——-
What triggered the confrontation or why the planes were in the region is unclear, but analysts said the mission may have been designed by Russia to draw out South Korean and Japanese aircraft for intelligence gathering purposes.
“This mission will have given them a comprehensive map of the (South Korean) national air defense system,” said Peter Layton, a former Royal Australian Air Force pilot and analyst at the Griffith Asia Institute.
“I’ve got an idea. Let’s play chicken with those guys.”
So, a half-second burst?
That would give a rate of fire of 36,000 rpm. It was more likely a five or six second burst at a lower cyclic rate.
Depending on the plane they were flying, iot could have been three 1 second bursts (which makes sense to my (non-flyboy) mind as a warning shot.
Or, if Wikipedia is correct, it could have been one of their F-5s dumping all its ammo.
Not all, that’s 280 per cannon, and it has two, so 560 rounds.
Is 560 not “more than 300”?
It would be reported as “More than 500” if they dumped it all, so I’m thinking between 3 and 4 hundred.
You sure are putting a lot of faith in the accuracy of a CNN story.
What modern air aircraft has more than one cannon? I believe the SKs fly F-16s, F-15s, and have just started receiving F-35As, and these all have a single rotary cannon. Even their indigenous built FA-50s have a single cannon if I recall correctly.
Not Adahn was talking about the F-5, which is listed as having two.
The SKs still fly the F-5s too.
They supposedly have 158 F-5s still in service
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Korea_Air_Force
Guess they sent those up to minimize what intel the bad actors could collect.
Just looks like another stupid dick measuring contest to me.
Whose version you going to trust? I trust the South Koreans and Japanese, but I may be biased.
Given the Russians past behaviour, they were in South Korean airspace, no doubt.
Sure, I’d side with them on this one. in this case it appears to be the Russians and the Chinese who are acting badly.
In this case?
If it’s an Asian dick-measuring contest wouldn’t they generally come up short?
*strongly narrows gaze*
Every once in a while you have to test your opponents defenses. That is if you are expansion minded. Pretty stupid really. Who is fuckwitted enough to think you can expand militarily in todays world?
So, Ukraine got Crimea back?
*Georgia sheds a single tear*
Crimea river?
Who is fuckwitted enough to think you can expand militarily in todays world?
Given the behavior of the leadership of China and Russia, I think the only thing holding back a modern wave of imperialism is the might and resolve of the United States, neither of which are guaranteed to last forever. Not everyone buys into the current international consensus, but they pretend to because that’s what the guys with the biggest guns want.
Everyone knows your supposed to fly upside down over the top of the Russian plane, give them a finger, and snap a photo. It’s been SOP since 1984.
Danger Zone!
That grocery store story is horrible. What a terrible way to go.
When I was a wee feller I got trapped behind a dumpster at school and the Janitor rescued me. I am a Janitor today. And now you know…The rest of the story! Good day.
But have you paid it forward and saved a kid yet?
Nope but funny you should mention because I did help to save a Kitteh last night. Some asshole dropped off his daughter’s beautiful little cat which is clearly in heat at one of my sites. Obviously a house pet and wouldn’t have lasted the night before being eaten by a coyote, fox or owl. Hell, there are feral cats out there that must go 25 pounds. Anyways, I tell their supervisor about this and every female at the plant rushes outside. They kept trying to put it in a box which didn’t work too well because Kitteh was probably brought there via cardboard box. I just went out and cat-whispered it into the foyer. One of the girls (Asian, this story writes itself!) took Kitteh home and is going to the SPCA today. Also, someone tried to flush a tampoon in one of my toilets. Just another night in the life of Jani-Tor!
One of our employees witnessed some asshole disposing of two tiny kittens into a garbage can in Philly.
He rescued them and brought them back to our workplace, Both got new homes.
One of our office workers adopted the calico. It’s only ~3 weeks old so it needs constant attention and she’s bringing it to work to feed it & care for it.

IZ NOW OFFICE KAT!
awww….
See? Not everything is evil. Thanks, Sean!
Is cat, is evil. Cute and appealing bundles of evil.
So no one noticed the smell from decomposition, or the insect activity?
Don’t shop at that store.
They thought the smell came from their usual selection of vegan fare?
I’ve heard of sneaking off to take an unauthorized break, but this is just ridiculous
When I worked in the Purchasing Department I had a cry spot at the back corner of the warehouse. Make of that what you will (and I know the Glibs will).
Every time you brought a “date” back there for a quickie, they cried?
That warehouse space was not fully utilized, clearly.
/ignores the need for space to move goods in and out.
Huh huh huh….
You said “utilize”…
“Insert clip from movie Ideocracy about that discussion…“
Are you my new store manager? Seriously, he came on a couple months ago and, to put his stamp on the store, switched us from a 5-day per week truck schedule to a 7-day. The back of the supermarket is full, I don’t have shelf space to put stuff and our store doesn’t move merchandise quickly enough to clear any space. Sigh…
“cry spot” = a place to rub one out.
Are people still allowed to make fun of you for crying during/after sex when it is a solo act?

She’s also totes batshit.

Look my dude, she’s only speaking TRUTH TO POWER!
Cause everyone knows nothing speaks to abuses of truth and power like marxism?
I love the “you guys are crazy” raving at the camera, it gives the clip just the right ironic touch.
Weak. She doesn’t even get shot and have drugs fall out her ass.
I think you need testicles for the drugs to fall out. Maybe she has a woman’s penis?
The testicles are where pee is stored, not drugs.
If that’s where your pee is stored, see a doctor!
That’s what HM told me, and he wouldn’t lie to me. And, I’m pretty sure he’s a doctor of something. Eating ass maybe? Whatever, he knows stuff!
Is a doctorate degree in “Eating ass” a liberal arts degree or an engineering degree?

The move was criticized by Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., who told The Washington Post that the move is another attempt by the Trump administration to “circumvent Congress and make harmful changes to nutrition assistance that have been repeatedly rejected on a bipartisan basis.”
Taking food out of the mouths of poor people. Trump will now pass the savings on to the richest .00001%, because that’s how fascism works.
Ah – my (thankfully) do-nothing senator.
other than vote the party line that is.
So…like both of the IL senators then?
Yeah, evaluating the automatic enrollees to make sure they are actually eligible under the program is totes racist, or something.
The Dems really can’t stand it when the law is actually enforced, can they?
WHY DO YOU WANT TO INTERFERE WITH MY SCHEMES & SCAMS TO BUY VOTES FOR FREE SHIT, HUH?
That’s really the bottom line, isn’t it? The Democrats are all about creating dependent constituencies and buying their votes with taxpayer’s money. It’s incredibly evil.
No, according to them, everyone is above the law except the President.
“New Tropical depression is forming off the coast of Florida.”
I thought amphetamines counteracted depression?
Yeah, but they rock you like a hurricane.
That’s why it’s forming off the coast instead of overland.
MethGatornado.
Somebody get the Syfy channel on the phone. That’s a winning idea right there.
“And do you know what I did with that money? Do you know what I said? We’re going to go ahead and put it in the pockets of folks like everyday Americans,” she said, noting that families making less than $100,000 could get up to $6,000 per year.
Taking the moral route, Tlaib said it is important to give money back to the people who actually “earned” it, suggesting that wealthy individuals do not earn or deserve to keep the fruits of their labor.
“That’s what we do with our public dollars. We give it back to the people– the people that earned it,” Tlaib said.
Bless her heart.
Um, if those people actually “earned it”, then what did they do with it such that they don’t have it anymore?
They was robbed by the Man.
Is it still “The man” when the dollars all disappeared into the g-strings of some huge-assed strippers?
I hope it isn’t a man, NTTAWWT I guess.

Morning Banjos, and shiet my friend, I think timelines are merging, thus causing the Mandela Effect.

“Provost: It’s crazy — we do not know where that phrase came from. It has been used by everybody for years. Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Colbert — it never happened. And when I wrote my autobiography “Timmy’s in the Well,” I read the synopsis of every episode. There was never an episode where I fell in a well. There was somebody who did and Lassie had to go get help. But it never happened to Timmy. We just don’t know where that came from.”

What is the point of a budget cap and debt ceiling when they just get approved and modified whenever more spending is wanted?
When both parties get “victories” the taxpayer always loses.
Yes, when both parties work together, we get a result that is both stupid and evil.
Feels great being the sheep to the wolf dinner party.

What in the hell is going to happen with all of this debt? They can’t raise taxes enough to pay it off, they apparent;y can’t cut a damn single thing from the budget, and the spending is doing nothing but increasing at insane rates. This is a short-sighted game of grab the loot while you can, and damn the future.
IOW, business as usual in Beltwayland.
“What in the hell is going to happen with all of this debt? They can’t raise taxes enough to pay it off,”
The Keynesian plan that our oligarchy is going by has as it’s exit strategy the clever move of devaluing the dollar – banana republic style – and then, paying it off becomes easy when we print bills with lots of zeros behind the first number. As if said bills still don’t need to be backed by some security that has that value.
The whole new 320 B is added to the debt. Since the deficit is about 1 T any new spending will be on borrowed money, which of course will accumulate interest to be repaid for ever.
We will need a 2nd mortgage to pay the interest. OTOH, frugality never won an election, well maybe Andy Jackson, but not counting him.
Did Rome pay off it’s debts after the collapse? Did King Louis XVI’s government pay their debts? Nicholas II’s Russia?
Don’t worry – this isn’t ever getting paid back, just enjoy one last joy-ride.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said in a statement that the agreement “secures the resources we need to keep rebuilding our armed forces.”
Rebuild?
smdh.
Well, yeah, we only have Eleven carrier groups, and not enough ground troops for a few more world wars.
Did we have 20 before? What time in history does he want to spending to match?
Yeah, we had a lot more stuff during the Reagan years, so we are now badly deficient in stuff. We used to have more stuff than the the next 10 biggest militaries combined, now we only have more stuff than the next 7 biggest militaries combined!! This dangerous gap needs to be reversed!!!!11!!!
Actually the problem is that we don’t have enough stuff to deal with all the conflicts across the globe against shit actors we somehow keep getting drawn into while keeping enough reserves of real force to deal with the real bad players that all have designs on changing the existing world order and all this freedom for the people shit that has gone out of style.
+1 Mineshaft gap.

In all honesty, I don’t think the US has the capability to fight an actual 2 front war if there were ever to be another team up Axis-style (say, Russia + China). Not that the US is weak, but that all of our allies are. The US is supposed to be the leader of the free world, not the only one willing to defend it.
The Taliban really crushed our Air Force.

Progs like to lecture others on how we “just sit by when there are children in cages,” and this is the other side of that coin — progs just sitting by while this happens. AFAIK there is not even a “healthy debate” in the GLBTetc community about this.
I am always flabbergasted by people whose opinions are not formed by some principal reason and logic, but about what agenda their team has Tonio. That sort of behavior can’t be healthy or result in anything but more problems.
Lmao that feminism has now devolved into forced ball touching
Good like taking away my waxed lips. Molon Labia.
So when the bathroom thing started up, people who said they were afraid that pervs and rapists would take advantage of it to attack women or children were roundly castigated as bigots at worst and unsophisticated rubes at best. And I have no doubt that a lot of people who expressed those ideas were coming from a bad place; but that doesn’t mean that those concerns were unfounded.
With this weird thing, this blending of transgender acceptance with some sort of bizarre body positivity movement targeted towards adolescents and children, I strongly suspect that we’re going to see something similar. I’m willing to accept that there are a lot of good-hearted weirdos who believe that dressing up as tranny clowns and reading stories to people’s kids is in some way a step on the road to a future where everyone is kind and accepting. I’m am equally sure that there are pedos who want to climb on board in order to normalize their disorder as some sort of alternative lifestyle, and I’m 100% sure that there are sexual predators who will use this moment to abuse kids. When that happens, the pitchfork-and-torch wielding crowd will not be chanting “Love Is Not A Crime”.
They’ve set no moral bounds around the behaviors. It’s simply “If you oppose their personal preferences, you’re a bigot.”
What they’re doing is conflating normal, parenting 101 type shit–not leaving your children with strangers, keeping your pre-pubescent children away from sexual situations, etc.–with bigotry. This is the same thing as when people who, if walking alone in a dimly-lit urban area late at night, cross the street rather than walk through a crowd of boisterous young black men and then are accused of racism for it. Maybe they are, or, maybe the ethnic background is incidental and they’re just exercising an abundance of caution since groups of young, noisy men are more likely to give lone strangers trouble regardless of race than, say, a crowd of old ladies heading to church at 8:00 AM. So you’re going to wind up with sincere, naive people who will purposely walk right through every bunch of young men they see in order to prove that they aren’t racist, and then find out that not being an idiot is not the same thing as being a racist. In the same way, I’m sure there are going to be parents who are absolutely psyched to drop their children off at that pool and will drive off with their hearts full of righteous joy even as they force themselves to ignore the small voice in their heads that tells them that they’re putting their children at risk in order to prove their virtue to strangers.
Dude. This is not going in good places.
People who support this are fools.
We are already in the ‘normalizing pedophilia’ stage. There are psychologists in Europe and left-wingers who are arguing it’s not a crime.
Parents who send their kids to these readings are engaging in propaganda and abuse if you ask me.

I truly look forward to the day Dorsey hopefully gets his comeuppance.
My contempt for that guy….
I don’t think Dorsey gives a shit. I think he stumbled onto riches and is more than content to let the very motivated leftist loons in his management staff get their way instead of making the effort to run them out.
Grievance mongers actively seek out positions of influence and power where they will not or can not be held accountable for their lunacy: government, HR, committees, etc… Normal people get fed up and go their own way and leave it to them. Ayn Rand was absolutely correct on this.
Then admit it and stop acting like a cowardly bitch on Rogan and other shows.
He stands there yapping on wanting to ‘bring the world together’.

Libertarians were in charge?
Fuck, I missed it.
Uh…George Will and David French are libertarians? Yeah. Right.
Somebody doesn’t know what “libertarian” means.
Can you blame them when Sarwark is the chair?
Good point.
If one thing right wingers and left wingers have in common is the understanding that libertarianism runs the world.
No wonder there are so many of (((them))) amongst us.
George Will and David French, noted libertarians. What are they smoking over there at the Daily Caller and where can I get some?
Since when have the cared about actual facts instead of the narrative?
I missed the memo that said Libertarians were in charge of the conservative movement.
Conservatives are just trying to displace blame from their own failures so they don’t have to look in the mirror.
Is it me or is this something you’d see on page 2 of the Democratic Candidate Speechwriter’s Handbook?
Yup, the mask comes off the establishment right.

43% is waaaaayyyy too high.
I bet these people think someone else will be paying for that free healthcare. Ask them how they feel if they know not only that they will be paying for it, but that they also will have to give up their own private insurance for a government run shit system for all, and see what the numbers are then.

Not that this is anything of a surprise, but contra what Planned Parenthood has been touting for the last several years (abortions are only 3% of what we do; we are a healthcare provider not a political animal. etc.) PP concedes it is a political org, to wit, “abortion is unavoidably political” and “Planned Parenthood is the largest single provider of abortion services in the United States”.

For years, out-of-touch libertarian-minded elitists like Amash who have urged conservatives to abandon social issues, prioritize the profit margins of corporations, and effectively ignore the needs of families and the working class have dominated the conservative movement. Conservatives believed they were our best and brightest, so we gave them the keys to America’s future and let them drive. We empowered them to write our policies and craft our rhetoric. We trusted them when they told us rubes that only they knew how to win.

So just so you do not think there is no stupid religious comments in Romania, the Dean of the Faculty of Theology of a large university just said if rape results in pregnancy it means the woman liked it / wanted it. There is some sort of outrage in the press, although he said it on a radio station that is church affiliated. Off course the good thinking now say the radio station needs to be fined for this…
Wait, don’t all women harbor secret rape fantasies? If so, this guy is right, isn’t he?

How long did her laughing fit last after you told her that it would replace all the other government welfare programs and hence would be even cheaper than the current regime?
Lets see, $12,000 (disbursed at $1,000/mo) to 250,000,000 adults in the US, is only $3,000,000,000,000/year. That doesn’t even include administrative costs.
How much do we spend on welfare now?
There are no administrative costs. It magically goes to bank accounts.
She actually said, but no one can live off $1000. I said your right, so calling it a replacement for welfare is a lie because of course we have to help those people.
I’ve thought about that myself. $1000 is a big help if you’re $1000 short every month. Otherwise, you’re going to need to augment that income somehow. Ideally, it’s through productive work of some kind, but I am deeply skeptical that the welfare rolls as they’re currently configured are targeting the same people who would be helped by a UBI. So, you wind up with a gap, and you either let those people depend on charity and family, which just puts you in the same place as saying no public assistance at all, or you go right back to what we’ve got now.
It would help you afford Baltic Ave.
She actually said, but no one can live off $1000.
When I was young (and single) there was a year where I lived comfortably on less than $1K/mo. (in the US, in this millennium even), so I’m going to have to call that out as BS. I could see it as being difficult to impossible for families, but single people can do just fine on $1K.
Wouldn’t families get $2,000 – $4,000/month? One for each household member?
That’s a good point. And that should be totally sufficient to cover all necessities.
Totally not an incentive for poor people to have more kids.
Your insurance doesn’t cover urinary tract infections?
Of course, you have to have some purges first. Thin the ranks and all.
I never thought of it that way. Implement UBI and coerced euthanasia and forced abortions are sure to follow. Incentives matter.

“Because it’s essentially pro-ana. And as a society we should aim to protect those who are vulnerable”
From what are we protecting them?
Weight loss is not anorexia.
It’s interesting that she’s decided that the dichotomy is obesity versus anorexia with no middle ground, and that anorexia is the only disorder in that equation.
She needs to come out with giant plates that say “FATTIE” on them to compete in the market of ideas!

Why the radical right love their intellectuals
There is much we can learn from the 1920’s and 1930’s. For example, it was not only his ideas that made Nae Ionescu important for his followers.
who?
For the millionth time, fascism is a leftist/collectivist ideology.
That really depends on the definitions and there are no clear universally accepted ones
OK, fascism is a collectivist ideology, just like communism.
No fair. You’re rigging the definitions to make your side look good.
I think a very strong case can be made it falls on the left-side of the spectrum. Mussolini for example (as was his father) was a socialist. It’s not a stretch to assert fascism evolved from this. Add that classical liberalism was pretty much killed off after WWI and you’re left with a vacuum to which left-wing ideologies attempts to fill that gap. If one wants to quibble, fascism is to the ‘right’ of socialism. That’s all it is.
It’s not traditional conservatism, it’s not classical conservatism or liberalism. It’s just an offshoot of Marxist and socialist ideas and ideologies.
I think. No? Oh fuck off. I’m going to eat some yogurt.

https://twitter.com/tedlieu/status/1153011339322806272
Yeah, it’s essentially socialism that recognizes the reality of (semi) free markets with a healthy dose of traditionalism thrown in.
It’s another form of collectivism. One where the people that want to be in charge realized that by leaving others with the illusion that there is a private system in place – one whose membership they can regulate and thus pick the winners and losers – they can then blame said private entity for any failures instead of themselves. The marxists were are stuck having to blame other people for the problems they create without the benefit of such a cleaver 3-D cover.
Ah, so communist China.
+3(rd way)
Yep. Which is why China glided from socialism to their current fascist system without much disruption.
Isn’t the only real distinct characteristic of fascism that private ownership is allowed, but business is state-run, instead of direct state ownership?
That’s what I had always heard.
No, that’s far too narrow a view. Fascism is at its core a reorganization of *society as a whole* into something that does away with the public/private distinction in favor of the state.
“All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.”
The family is subsumed into an operational unit of the state. Business is subsumed into an operational unit of the state. Religion/spirituality/mythology is reformatted into a justification of the state.
If you think more of Sparta than of just “business is state-run” you’ll be much closer to the mark.
If that’s the case, how does it differentiate from socialism then? Both push the domination of the state.
Socialism is an economic system. Fascism incorporates aspects of socialism into an overarching political theory that preserves the old organizational units (businesses, families , and churches) while making them wholly subservient to the state. Communism blows up all of the old organizational units and leaves only the state.
Early commies believed in a world-wide collection of workers rising up and ultimately abolishing national borders once the capitalist pigs were all shot.
Fascists had a whole racist/national pride thing going on where the better peoples would subject lesser peoples to their dominion.
potato/potahto
So essentially what you’re saying is;
Socialism takes away all economic freedom, but (theoretically) leaves the rest of society untouched.
Fascism dominates those societal systems without changing them.
Communism completely destroys anything not under direct state control/creation..
The cult of the state, “statolatry” as defined by Gentile.
No, the state is not central to socialism. The collective is. If Marx was American, he might say “The People” are. In socialism, the state is a tool that is (usually, but not always) used to coordinate the collective. There have been many collectives that have formed without a state. Many socialist who call themselves anarchists believe in radical egalitarianism. You can argue that that never has worked out in the past an all socialist countries have be hierarchical, but the goal is usually to do away with hierarchy.
By contract, in fascism, hierarchy is the goal. The state sits at the top of the goal and the whole point of the society is the advancement of the state.
You may say that these sound like the same thing because, in practice, the socialist community always devolves into a totalitarian state. But:
1) No, it doesn’t. Lots of communes have formed that have governance, but not state. These usually fail, but they were a big thing in the 60’s and 70’s. You can still find them in the US if you look for Punk Houses. In Israel, they are called Kibbutz. Both are founded on explicitly Marist lines.
2) Two things can be diametrically opposed to liberalism/libertariansim and still be different. The opposite of Love is both Apathy. The opposite of Love is Hate. The opposite of Apathy is Hate.
(PS better to think of fascism as a Non-Marxian for of socialism, than to think of fascism as non-socialist. There are lots of socialist organizations that predate or ignore Marx, like feudalism, the Puritan cultures, or even some wagon trains that followed the Oregon Trail. The opposite of that category is individualist societies like post-enlightenment liberal democracies, and there are rather fewer of these in history)
We should stop with the competing circle jerk of trying to pin the fascists on the opposite side and just call them what they were/are which is violent authoritarians, you know, just like the communists.
I agree. I know the Nolan Diagram is considered outdated but I’ve found it useful for explaining (or trying anyway) to progs that libertarianism is not a subset of right-wing ideology.
It may be outdated but the left/right paradigm is even more so. Is there a viable alternative out there that’s well regarded?
Horseshoe model?
Maybe it’s more of an up/down thing with freedom as the scale.
– Reagan back in 1964
True dat.
Reagan said some great stuff in regard to liberty………and did some stuff completely antithetical to his rhetoric . I can’t look past the shit he pulled to escalate the drug war.
That’d be a good starting point, sort of individual rights versus collectivism in a more broad sense than the measurement of views on individual issues seen with the Nolan Chart.
Agreed.
But – for all his weaknesses – he did call out the commies for what they were.
That’s something I don’t appreciate enough probably because I was barely old enough to be aware of politics during his presidency. Hating Commies was the norm for me in the 80’s, I never lived through a time when people were soft on them…….until about 2015 /rolls eyes
For the millionth time, fascism is a leftist/collectivist ideology.
Fascism self-identifies as centrist.
“Nationalism, race theory, and eugenics were the dominant ideologies of 1920s and 1930s ”
You mean during the progressive era?
A good number of 20s socialists were very pro eugenics
That’s my point. If those ideologies were dominant it was because they were attached to the dominant ideology of the period.
I understand the desire to revise history and make everything bad be “right wing”. Morality is easy when you’re already always right.
I like to remind people that the marxist were also very nationalistic despite their appeal to globalism. The USSR and red China fell out of love with each other because Mao did not agree with the Soviets that it was the destiny of the USSR to lead the global marxist movement because the Soviets were the chosen people.
During the progressive era, progressive thought wasn’t exclusive to the left side of the isle.
And yes, Ionescu was on the right. So where the social movements that generated fascist governments in Spain, Italy, and Germany. They incorporated some policy ideas that today would put them on the left, but that doesn’t prove anything.
The ACA’s individual mandate was originally formulated by Heritage. That doesn’t make Obamacare right-wing scheme.
The ACA’s individual mandate was originally formulated by Heritage.

The individual mandate is something I could write a SLD article about.
Like my UBI one, it entirely depends on context. A don’t support a UBI or the mandate, but they are fare less bad ideas within the right system.

Think tribally, not on the basis of policy. Who are his followers? What social ecosystem does he operate in?
The answer is that his followers and ecosystem is part of the Red Tribe, but very much not the part of the Red Tribe that traditionally had authority or leadership within the Red Tribe. Ergo, Alt Right.
Which is just as useful a term as Alt-Rock was in 1998. Its easy to quibble that it doesn’t have a ideologically pure definition, but its not a label that has much to do with ideology compared to tribe. (How can an arena-selling act with a contract with BMG be alt? Because the way they sound)

House Democrats on Tuesday will launch an aggressive communications campaign to highlight Robert Mueller’s sweeping investigation into Russian election interference just ahead of the former special counsel’s appearance before Congress for a pair of hotly anticipated hearings.
The office of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has crunched Mueller’s 448-page report into a six-page document, featuring the former FBI director’s most damning findings, which will be distributed Tuesday to Democratic lawmakers to guide their outreach to voters as all eyes in Washington turn to Mueller’s testimony.
Dubbed “Exposing the Truth,” the six-page memo was coordinated between Pelosi’s office and the two committees where Mueller will appear on Wednesday: Judiciary, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), and Intelligence, led by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).
From a messaging standpoint, the operation, along with an accompanying social media campaign, is designed to put a public spotlight on both the vulnerabilities in America’s election system and President Trump’s conduct before and after winning the White House, as noted by Mueller’s findings. As a political tool, it’s meant to pressure Republicans to consider the election, ethics and national security reforms Democrats have pushed heading into the polls next year.
“We’re at this incredible moment in time where we could either move forward as a unified nation in a very patriotic way to address these issues and these vulnerabilities, or our Republican colleagues will force us to turn the page … on one of the greatest threats facing our nation right now,” said a Democratic leadership aide.

It sounds like they did no such thing. What they did is discriminate on the basis of sex. Which is something I assume they are allowed to do since this complaint was not brought by a normal man.

Vice President Mike Pence abruptly canceled his planned trip to New Hampshire earlier this month to avoid shaking hands with an alleged interstate drug dealer, according to a Politico report.
If Pence had flown on Air Force Two for the planned opioid event in Manchester, N.H., he would have come into contact with former New York Giants player Jeff Hatch, who now works for the opioid addiction treatment center Pence was set to visit, Politico reports.
Hatch is under investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for moving more than $100,000 of fentanyl from Massachusetts to New Hampshire, and he agreed on Friday to plead guilty to the charge and will serve up to four years in prison, according to Politico.
As a result, the vice president never left Washington on July 2, despite reports that Air Force Two was called back in midair so that he could attend to an unspecified emergency.
Huh.
Drug hysteria worked too well with Boomers and GenX’ers. Logic and outcomes be damned, drug dealers are evil and must die.

New Yorker journalist Jane Mayer has been promoting her new piece about Al Franken as an exculpatory tale. “Almost NOTHING His Main Accuser Said checks out,” Mayer tweeted Monday morning, describing her 12,000-plus-word investigation into the allegations of harassment and misbehavior that eight women levied against the then-senator in 2017. In another tweet, Mayer said that Franken was “railroaded.” In response to the executive editor of Lawfare, who accused Mayer of “rewriting history,” she tweeted, “Sometimes the first draft of history is wrong- especially when no one fact checks it.”
Mayer’s fact-checking does poke plenty of holes in the story told by conservative radio host Leeann Tweeden, whose breasts Franken can be seen pretending to grope (or possibly actually groping) in the photo that kicked off a rash of accusations against him.
——–
Yes, Tweeden almost certainly lied about some things. It also appears that she tailored her accusation to damage a person whose politics she didn’t like. (Although it’s worth noting that, after Franken apologized to her, Tweeden said she didn’t want him to resign.) But when we’re thinking about Franken’s fate, it’s dangerous to overemphasize Tweeden’s motivations and trustworthiness. The key question here is whether Franken’s behavior, in aggregate, means he doesn’t deserve a place in the U.S. Senate.
I won’t pretend there’s a clear and obvious answer to that question, but I do think there’s a better way to try to answer it. Instead of dissecting Franken’s case for the purposes of exonerating him, we could be discussing what we should expect from elected officials who’ve been creepy and sexist. How can they atone for their behavior? What threshold of proof should we demand? Is being removed from one of the most powerful positions in America akin to “capital punishment,” as one of Franken’s former Senate colleagues suggests? If we strive to hold politicians accountable for past policy positions, can we not question the character of a man who, for many years, wrote, performed, and was seemingly personally gratified by the humor of sexual coercion and objectification? Alas, skits that promote rape culture in an institution famous for its epidemic rates of sexual assault were apparently not seen as troubling a decade ago—but it’s not too late!
——-
It betrays a failure of imagination and a fundamental distrust of women’s activism to strive to limit the #MeToo movement to men accused of the most heinous sexual assaults. Near the beginning of her piece, Mayer describes Franken as a man “on the losing side of the #MeToo movement.” To me, this was a jarring, reductive framing of a powerful push for social change, one that has demanded women revisit, reevaluate, and lay bare their most painful memories. A grass-roots movement against sexism and abuse has no winners and losers. Neither is there anyone at the top to adjudicate claims, dole out punishments, and make the rules. If Franken resigned too hastily, that’s not the fault of the #MeToo movement, nor of the female senators who were repulsed by a compromising photo and by an allegation from a Democratic Senate staffer some of them knew. Efforts to make sense of the accusations against Franken should be welcomed by people invested in justice for the accused and accusers alike. Efforts to frame the #MeToo movement as a dangerous zero-sum game should not.
That omelette won’t make itself.
Mayer was also the “journalist” who published some of the the most inflammatory and most unreliable/unbelievable accusations against Kavanaugh.
Mayer’s fact-checking does poke plenty of holes in the story told by conservative radio host Leeann Tweeden, whose breasts Franken can be seen pretending to grope (or possibly actually groping) in the photo that kicked off a rash of accusations against him.
And it was that picture that got Franken in trouble. How the hell is that not to be believed? We’re supposed to believe unsupported accusations when the target is politically inconvenient and ignore our own sense when it’s a politically favored target. How stupid do they think people are?
Ummmmm……
And it was that picture that got Franken in trouble.
Indeed. A picture which Franken did not deny was real and did not claim represented consensual behavior. If he was railroaded, it was by himself.
Evidence that prevents the people that want your head on a platter, based solely on an accusal made by some supposed victim, from lying when they are accused in turn, is evil.
Who ya gonna believe, Mayer or your lying eyes?
Anyway, there was a bunch of other women who accused him of similar behavior. Some were supporters and Democrats.
I won’t pretend there’s a clear and obvious answer to that question
I can imagine a scenario in which it would be a clearly and obviously answerable question.
t betrays a failure of imagination and a fundamental distrust of women’s activism to strive to limit the #MeToo movement to men accused of the most heinous sexual assaults.
When you restrict the definition of rape to forcible nonconsensual intercourse, you’re denying the lived experience of millions of disappointed and unhappy women.

New Hampshire voters approve of the job Sen. Elizabeth Warren is doing; they just don’t like her all that much. Same goes for Sen. Kamala Harris.
Despite Harris’s recent bump in New Hampshire following her performance at the first Democratic debate, data in a recently released CNN/UNH Survey Center poll of likely New Hampshire voters found good favorability numbers for both Warren and Harris (67 percent for Warren, 54 percent for Harris). But when pollsters asked, “Which Democratic candidate do you think is most likable?” the numbers for both women were bleak.
Just 4 percent of likely voters polled said they found Warren “likable,” and 5 percent said the same about Harris. The candidates they liked better were all men: 20 percent found both Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders likable, while 18 percent found South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg likable. (Warren’s favorability rating was the same as Sanders’s and higher than either Biden’s or Buttigieg’s.)
Likability is a tricky, highly subjective political term. Pollsters used to get at the same question by asking, “Who is the candidate you’d rather grab a beer with?” But the question of who voters think is the most likable is difficult to pin down because different people have vastly different ideas of what it means, according to Kathleen Hall Jamieson, director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
“The construct is an unclear construct,” she told Vox. “We are making it relevant without asking why should it be. We don’t know what it is, anyway.”
One thing is clear: Likability applies differently to male and female candidates. But female candidates need to be liked in order to be elected, research has found.
If you define “likeability” as “willingness to destroy anyone or anything which impedes her grasp for power” I think Kamala Harris is extremely likeable. Does that help?
You know, I keep hearing the trope that women get held to a different “likability” standard. I just don’t buy it. John Kerry wasn’t particularly likable. I don’t think he had a vagina (although it may be possible). It’s that he came across as an arrogant elitist douche. I disagree very strongly with Tulsi Gabbard on a host of issues. I don’t for a minute pretend she’s not likable.
I seem to recall there being an experiment where the candidates performance at the presidential debate was gender swapped and Mr Hillary came off as utterly unlikable without reservation by pro-hillary people.
I don’t believe there is a higher standard of likability for female candidates, just that a lot of the candidates we’ve had have been distinctly unpleasant people
I think it’s selection bias. Women (like men) attracted to power enough that go into politics, are generally unlikable
Now do Warren Wilhelm Jr.
John Kerry wasn’t particularly likable.
What does likable even mean? Few like those they don’t agree with: few cannot be offended during criticism, so they take disagreement as being disagreeable.
To those who agree with her politics, Warren is one of the most likable folk out there: her opposition would characterize her as arrogant and lecturing, but her adherents would find her patient, understanding, sensitive, reasonable, responsible, and responsive.
Kerry strikes me as likable and interesting; I’d go fishing with him, or GWB43, or GHWB41, or JEC40. BHO44 is urban (literally: I don’t care about Chicago) and boring to me, but I might could spend the afternoon at Nieman’s with him. JDT45 is a perfect child; I don’t like man-babies . . . I find them unlikable. None of these people pass my purity test: their careers are full of problematic goals and actions. I’d argue that likable is another thing, but that’s not what most people mean.
You forgot WJC42. Would you hop on a privater jet and go to a tropical island with him?
Seriously, I’d like to have a couple bourbon’s with Bubba. I bet he’d be fun.
Dammit. Lit the Ted signal.
oh, it wasn’t a comprehensive list
I’m a ScotsIrish Southerner of underclass beginnings: WJC42 might bore me to tears. He has tremendous people chops, it seems, but I don’t need an unending TED talk in a Hot Springs accent . . . can do that myself well enough. I can imagine agreeing to an evening with him but begging off early with a headache: what would we talk about ?
JEC40?
what a Frankenstein that would be
39
That must be some good shit. Who’s your dealer?
Also, if Obama is too urbane how is Kerry not? He is a Yalie who lives on Beacon Hill.
I’d rather talk France than Chicago, and I’d rather go for a spin than shoot hoops, but I don’t expect everyone to share those preferences.
Few like those they don’t agree with: few cannot be offended during criticism, so they take disagreement as being disagreeable.
Maybe its a lawyer thing, but I don’t find good faith disagreement on the merits as being “disagreeable”. I’ve been on friendly terms with any number of attorneys who were vehemently disagreeing with me.
It’s easier to blame rampant misogyny than to come up with ideas that people actually support.
Also, it’s weird how all this institutional misogyny stayed under cover while Sarah Palin was in the spotlight and while Condeleeza Rice was Secretary of State. Funny how that works.
We should be nicer to women politicians. Unless they are Republican, because female Republicans are de Debil.
You dumb fuck. You don’t make in relevant or not. Its either a real phenomena that you should measure, or its not.
“We are having a hard time with this homework. Can we just, like, not do it or whatever?”
It’s not that difficult a construct. People know it matters. A lot. Whether you think it should matter is beside the point. People vote on personality. You just don’t like the results your answers are giving you.
“As president, I’ll give Congress 100 days to send legislation to my desk to stop Big Pharma from raking in massive profits at the expense of Americans. If Congress won’t act, I will.”

Aren’t you in the Senate now?
She’s already making statements about how she plans to executive overreach that make ‘pen and phone’ look milquetoast.
That would require me to do the work of writing and getting the votes for a bill……that’s hard. As president I would legislate and execute.
Well, she can’t sponsor that bill now, because reasons!
If Congress won’t act, I will.
And it would be great if the Supreme Court sent her a ruling on the issue saying “You’re a f**king idiot. Get legislation and come back to us.”
Except penaltax Roberts will find a way to preserve her acts to avoid “politicizing” the court.
Well if there’s a tax in there Roberts won’t be voting against it.
Sometimes I wish Congress would unify and act together to fight the evil of the imperial presidency. She is truly a terrible person.
Is this a satire article that I’m not sophisticated enough to pick up on?

for flipping burgers. “everyone’s going to be rich, man!”
Screw flipping burgers, I’ll go be a receptionist somewhere.
You know what. My first job out of college I was making less than that. At that point I was married with a kid. I saw a paystub of one of my non married friends. I was floored how much was taken out in taxes from their checks, because they didn’t take any deductions.
So moral is fuck you cut taxes.
My first job out of college was $13/hr. Of course going from zero to 13 was a great step up to me. I had a paid off car (my dad’s old one), lived in a rented house with my brother for $300/mo. No credit card. I was actually stacking up cash faster than I could spend it.
My first job out of college was $5.25/hour.
Hrm. My first job before college was $5.15/hour.
My first job was $90/week, plus food and a tent.
Did you get to keep the tent?
I was making that much as an engineering co-op in 2008. As a single college student, I was flush with cash. Hell, I was practically financially supporting my girlfriend at the time and still had enough to max out my 401k and spend some on fun.
You can’t tell me that 10 years of inflation has eroded that away to subsistence money.
Paid Holidays? That, sir, is a step too far.
Don’t forget to gross up a (conservative) 20 – 25% for employer-side taxes and mandatory benefits to get a better idea of how this will affect the labor markets and/or drive price inflation.
…and/or drive price inflation.
So it’s a devious plan to deal with the debt. Drive up wages, watch prices rise, give out a universal income to compensate, fire up the printing presses, and watch the debt devalue. Not good for the economy, but at least the government will be seen to be “doing something” and “helping out”.
I’m finally meeting today to discuss salary, and all I can think, darkly, is how low a number can be and still be called a salary.
Go fuck yourselves with your 42k/year answering phones for a Sprint call center or mopping up broken pickle jars at Walmart. Yes, those are tedious, tiring, unfun jobs. That’s why we (used to) pawn them off on teenagers, because teenagers mostly know nothing and mostly can’t be trusted to do much more than push pickle juice around an aisle.
>>push pickle juice around an aisle
Euphemism overload!
33% raise after only a couple years? Where can I sign up for that kind of payscale?
Where can I sign up for that kind of payscale?

Are you suggesting that’s more than one ought to expect to be paid for standing around a Target store with a dumb look on one’s face?
“By the way, when we started it, it should have been $15. Now I think it should be $20. Make sure America Rising hears that. It should be $20 an hour — $18 to $20 an hour at this point,” Tlaib said.
Somebody go interview Ben Bernanke about this.

Ahem. I will abolish the minimum wage that requires to work a tedious job for $41k/year and replace it with a UBI that pays you $41k/year for doing nothing.
*withdraws from race, begs PC to name him as VP*
Have any of the UBI proponents addressed the fact that UBI sets a de facto minimum wage?
Some of them seem to believe people will work regardless.
This was disproven in Finland, but I’ve not heard much about that experiment lately.
*Raises Hand* $100!

$250K per year! We have to outdo Berkeley professors!
I bet you can get away with just $25/hour if you promise to stick it to the Jews with a national BDS policy.

Is this one of those “the chocolate ration has been increased from 300g to 200g” situations? Because Hammercorps’s bid of $100/hr is worth $200K/yr if you work full time (40 hrs a week for 50 weeks).
if you work full time

Stinky for President!
The important thing to understand is that this isn’t a serious idea. The numbers sound ridiculous and ill-considered because they aren’t important. Tlaib and her ilk didn’t sit down, run the numbers, and say, “You know, based on my research, I think $XX.XX an hour would provide a minimally-acceptable standard of living for someone working at a full-time job.” The point isn’t to get $15 an hour, the point is to put themselves in a position where the government is setting wage rates. The amount isn’t the point, it’s the control over the labor market. So, yeah, she might as well say $100 an hour, because what she’s really saying is that the government should be able to determine how much money people are paid.
Maximum wage here we come.
No one with a degree in a ‘studies’ program may make more than $0.15/hour.
Get a load of Mr. Serious here.

maybe all government announcements should be watched in such a mode? or at least some clown makeup filter?
This is the future weebs want.
I’d actually give them props if they manned up and admitted “Hey, we were just goofing around with the video feed before the press conference – the Sergeant doing his impression of the PM with cat ears was hilarious. We accidentally left the filter on. Our bad.”
The “Oh, its an automatic feature” is just an obvious lie. No points for that.
“It’s an automatic feature” translates to me as “We don’t know how to turn the filters off”
Didn’t the Pakistani government do that when this first happened? I’m guessing this was a copycat gone wrong.
Say it ain’t so, Shoeless!
It’s been two years since the union and Fiat Chrysler publicly became entangled in a federal criminal investigation involving bribery and violations of U.S. labor relations laws.
The investigation includes an alleged conspiracy to use funds earmarked for training of union members to keep UAW officials “fat, dumb and happy.” Benefits, according to public documents, included a $262,000 payment of a union leader’s mortgage and the use of company-paid credit cards for lavish dinners and trips, among other personal purchases unrelated to training.
U.S. prosecutors have contended company executives allowed, even encouraged, the elaborate spending in an attempt to influence union decisions and collective bargaining agreements, which were ratified in 2011 and 2015.
The UAW has adamantly denied such behavior could have impacted negotiations since union members must vote to ratify the agreements, which are bargained by committees, not individuals.
Art Wheaton, a labor expert with the Worker Institute at Cornell University, expects the scandal will further strain an already-delicate relationship between union leaders and rank-and-file members — particularly at Fiat Chrysler.
“There’s a huge breakdown in trust with the membership,” he said in an interview. “I think that’s going to be problematic.” The breakdown in trust, according to Wheaton, is expected to make it difficult for union leaders to get any potential deal ratified by union members during this year’s negotiations.
Union bigwigs cavort in lavish luxury, while the proles scramble for scraps?
Why wasn’t I told this, sooner?
What a surprise, to nobody.
The UAW has adamantly denied such behavior could have impacted negotiations since union members must vote to ratify the agreements,
Is anyone stupid enough to believe that bribing the negotiators doesn’t affect the negotiations?
It certainly raises the question of why they have negotiators at all if they believe that.
Weirdly, I was just thinking a few days ago about why bribery is and should be illegal, unless you are bribing the sole owner of the business, which may not even be bribery. I recall some thumbsucking and chinpulling over whether bribery should be against the law a few years ago.
The briber is inducing a breach of contract and/or a breach of fiduciary duty and is the beneficiary of fraud and/or theft of services, and the bribee is is breaching their contract and/or fiduciary duties, and is committing fraud and/or theft of services from their employer.
Whether it should be criminal depends mostly on whether you think these offenses in any setting should be criminal.
Union members should be able to sue union management and negotiators for failing their duties. Hopefully their duties are spelled out as getting the best wage / working conditions for their members. Who knows, management maybe changed what’s expected of themselves at some point.
But not criminal.
What about bribery of a public official?
Hopefully their duties are spelled out
Even if they aren’t, there is an implied duty at a minimum to work for the interests of their employer, not whoever bribed them. If any of the officials accepting bribes were in fiduciary roles, then you also have a breach of the duty of loyalty. Theft of services arises when you do work for other people on your employer’s time, which I think is at least a possibility in bribery cases. Fraud, of course, arises when you don’t tell your employer that you are taking money from an adverse party to work in their interest (a material omission).
Interesting question on whether the union members have standing to sue the officials who took bribes, or whether they only have standing to sue the union. I don’t have any idea whether the union has a written contract with its members – I doubt it, as I have never heard of one.
As a species of theft, why shouldn’t at least some level of fraud be criminal?
I may have went to the extreme / wishful thinking to fast, where if there is a wronged party that it can be resolved between the parties and the state doesn’t have to be involved in that way.
Realist, it will be criminal.
Ohio decides to bailout nuclear reactors, environmentalists squeal.
It surprises me that these reactors need subsidies to continue. Most of them pay for themselves, don’t they?
Oh who am I kidding, it’s all graft.
Regulations and horrible rules for waste disposal. The French just run it back through a Breeder reactor and make more fuel and electricity that way.
I’ll remember this when y’all get that dusting of 0.01″ of snow and declare a state of emergency after 23 car accidents, Banjos.
Because New York famously manages snowfall so well?
To be fair, New York City doesn’t manage anything well.
Be fair, UnCiv. NYC has a finely tuned machine for fleecing its residents and lining the pockets of its elected officials and misc. pubsecs.
4 to 5 inches would be known as the Texan Holocaust for a generation.
Err, no.
I count six Texas cities with average snowfall of over 4 inches.
Honestly, the biggest winter weather issue in Texas isn’t snow, its ice storms.
We’re not talking reality, we’re talking perception and propensity to bitch.
I apologize for any offense against the amour-propre of the great state of Texas and its superior barbecue.
we’re talking perception and propensity to bitch.
And you’re using New Yorkers as the baseline?
and the irony is that the flat, formerly navigable places in Texas now are interlaced with towering, unpassable interchanges: I can drive from TexLine to Hereford easier than from Weatherford (pardon the pun) to Forney in a snow storm
Yeah, my wife tells me no one needs or wants more than 4 or 5 inches.
I got nothing….
less than four then

Some Southerners are experts at weather driving: we have lived far enough north to get the weather but where plows and salt trucks weren’t in the budget. It ain’t how much snow falls: it’s how long it stays on the road.
I’d say it’s actually how you drive. If you don’t change to adapt to the conditions, it leads to carnage. Let’s not even get into changing one’s tires and all that.
Gotta get that winter air into your tires.
Yes, but that really isn’t as effective as a blinker fluid flush every 3 months.
Fuck you, Barr.
The elephant in the room that many Glibertarians don’t like to mention is that Trump was able to bleed support over to him from the traditionally Democrat LEO unions by promising to “let them off the leash.” With Barr and Sessions, the DOJ dropping the Garner case, etc. we can see that this is one promise that he has kept. The Thin Blue Line crowd has definitely been empowered to further erode our liberties in the name of law ‘n order while a aging Boomer mob that supports them out of demagoguery-whipped, nebulous fears of chaos and the Other.
Hortons law and all.
this isn’t wrong, but it doesn’t dominate the equation
it’s simpler and fairer to say that, regardless of party, ours is an unpunctuated string of presidents who enjoy the power that snooping affords them
meanwhile, if kissing up to cops makes all the church-ladies and truck-drivers jizz themselves, who could blame Trump for going along
Bless her heart
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday announced the second set of sweeping gun reform proposals following mass shootings at two mosques earlier this year.
The New York Times reports the changes would bring a ban on gun purchases by foreigners and would establish a mandatory gun registry.
Ardern said the legislation further restricting guns in the country will enshrine in law that owning a firearm is a privilege rather than a right.
The new rules would mean any foreign visitors to the country, classified as anyone planning to stay in New Zealand for less than a year, would be barred from buying guns. Those wishing to hunt in New Zealand would be forced to rent guns or bring their own and register them with police.
Ardern acted swiftly following the attacks on the mosques in March, which killed more than 50 people and injured several more.
Kamala Harris gets all flushed and tingly. “Oh lordy, it’s hot in here.”
i’m going to laugh my ass off when NZ eventually elects a legit murdering tyrant.
After New Zealand quickly passed the laws, Arden said she does not “understand the United States” and its inaction on stricter gun legislation following mass shootings in the country.
Put a sock in it, Slaver.
