[caption id="attachment_49740" align="alignright" width="227"] HATE WEEK IS HERE!!!!!![/caption] It's the Monday before Thanksgiving, and that means my kids are home…
I was carrying more weight than I wanted and had to do something about it. As my best friend says…
Meanwhile at Camp Yusef, the WiFi is up, a duraflame log is on the fire,
Cybercamping FTW!
https://www.gofundme.com/f/v8pdm-getting-to-arizona?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1
almost…..
Back to Bull head City? Good to know things are a little on the downhill side anyway, Yusef
I’m in contact with several employment/ business opportunities, and the big move is in the works, finally, glad you asked,
This sounds like good news.
it is for us as well, I met up with a Kite shop owner of all things, who wants to do some sales/promotion amongst other more Yusef things…
I hope things work out.
Me too!
So, we’re up for punishment?
Watch it! We don’t want to be punalized.
We’re going to get stuck in the punetatiary.
I have a punchant for seeking the punultimate in any pundertaking. To call me punstoppable would be a punderstatement. Punquestionably.
That was punbelievable.
Also a little pungent.
Get yourself to a punnery!
your pun fu is strong, grasshopper
Only if you say something funny.
Oh, thank goodness. We’re safe.
/Peppers MikeS with as-salting puns
I kid. You’re a punny guy!
Some are always ready for a little punishment but nothing kinky.
Just a little rampunctious.
What’s the worst that could happun?
Well, you could end up puniless.
Or get busted for carrying a concealed weapun?
More riding, and no cycling shorts?
Sounds unpunfortable.
Downright punful!
So… now’s when I point out that cycling shorts are meant to be worn commando?
Ummm….OK. I guess I could do that….
Srsly?
Yes, seriously. Cycling shorts are traditionally worn with nothing underneath. There’s been several time where the girlfriend was entertained by women staring at me in the shorts.
Oh my yes. Wearing underwear under bike shorts is a very bad idea.
Well, all righty then! Commando it is!
/tosses Peachy Rex a beer
I’m commando right now. And I’m not wearing pants.
I’m also given to understand that shaving in certain areas is contra-indicated for female cyclists.
I like a bit o chamois butter for 60 miles or more
/hides his DZ-Nutz
Not to put too fine a point on it but…not an issue.
So does this stuff heat up?
GT: Never used the women’s version, but use the men’s version on a regular basis (for any ride over 40 miles).
Swiss is going to have some punt-up gaze narrowing for us.
He’ll try to punt the lot of us.
Spu…Swallwell’s Fart is a little toasty. Good thing I got the Italian pot roast in the oven.
I’ve been drinking Bushmills in Twinning’s Irish Breakfast tea. Damn things kinda snuck up on me.
Big ass beers and now a Manhattan. Good thing all I have to do is boil some pasta and toss it with pot roast and sauce.
I sometimes mix Tullamore Dew with a pack of hot chocolate and the stir in steamed milk. Very un-keto but very good.
Scotch: A Golden Dream
on Prime (I watched it while sipping Glenfiddich)
It’s mostly advertising and other bullshit, but it’s a harmless 90 minutes
and trying to figure out what they’re saying is a lovely game
There’s a bourbon documentary on Hulu I watched.
/hides the beer documentaries he owns.
Sorry if this has already been posted.
Barack Obama, Conservative.
TW: WaPo
OFFS.
Wow, I really wish this guy had been president instead of the racemongering commie we actually had.
I can only surmise this is an attempt by WaPo – who absolutely support the farthest left proposals of Warren and the rest – to tar Obama with the icky “conservative” label in hopes that whoever wins the nomination will stick to xer guns instead of trying to hide their leftism for the general like they normally do.
Conservatisim: A political ideology that argues for the conservation of what the Last Leftist President enacted via fiat.
Wow, he was practically Hitler.
The former president was skeptical of sweeping change, bullish on markets, sanguine about the use of military force, high on individual responsibility and faithful to a set of old-school personal values.
Reality looks different to everybody.
“bullish on markets”
That explains QE then.
Hey! She’s a classy broad! I blame her kids being losers on Philip.
Finally read that drivel. When are we going to get articles in WP pointing out Obama departed office leaving an infrastructure that guaranteed a hindered and tormented transfer of power from one administration to the next. Regardless of what a person thinks about Trump this country has always had relatively smooth transitions and Obama ensured that would not happen for his replacement. If “historians” and writers were honest the Obama administration would go down in history as one of the most corrupt.
Exhibit A and then not let us forget the federal shakedowns by Eric Holder where fines paid by the shookdown went to Obama backing NGO’s and DNC political machine groups. Fuck Barack Obama.
Even worse – it’s boring.
At least it’s cold & rainy there, so with any luck they’re uncomfortable.
Scumbags?
Damn.

It is a treat listening to John Kennedy speak. That southahn accent. Love it. Wish he would toss in some “sumbitch” and “mothah fuckah” though.

What SP post? I don’t remember seeing an SP post. ::snickers. Mumbles “Commando my ass!”::

I saw it. It seemed… incomplete.
Anyone watching The Mandalorian? I’m enjoying it so far.
Also enjoying it. Good continuity with ep. 4-6, well produced and acted, baby yoda isn’t overwhelming. The guy (or whatever) is dull but he’s supposed to be. Good for a show, would be dull movie so far.
Damn right, and, damn right.
Umm…hoof? Where have you seen eps 4-6? They haven’t been released yet, as far as I know, so, if you’ve any “
inside herinsider information”, it would be greatly appreciated.Probably means good continuity with the original trilogy.
Well, I’ll be….I never even considered that (typically call them the “original trilogy”, myself). Makes excellent sense, considering the series.
Thanks, LCDR.
I’m not going to pay Disney.

How many Riot Shields does it take to stop Arrows?
More than armor.
The multi-gun was a smashing success!
I have no idea how well I did, since the scores haven’t been posted yet. I had one oopsie moment when I lined up in such a way that I shot out two clays with one shotgun blast… which meant I didn’t have enough shotgun targets to legally shoot at and couldn’t get my minimum number of shots off. I think that was only a 3 second penalty though.
I encourage you all to come to the next match. Plus, my Glibs logo grips are getting to look all badass and weathered.
Congrats!
/not going into NYS.
Honestly, I don’t blame you. You can legally bring in your pistol… but I doubt any gun you’d want to shoot in competition would have NY-legal magazines.
That’s the opposite of sporting clays. If you hit both with one shot, you get another clay.
Also opposite of sporting clays, these were stationary.
And you can look like a badass in front of your friends, don’t forget.
Congratulations!

I’m doing well. Are there issues? Sure? But I’m doing my best to be a trooper and do my part and feel as good as possible. (It’s actually not that bad! Like…seriously. not that bad. I’m hitting about .280. Not always successful, but imagine it’s baseball and I hit for contact, don’t strike out, and don’t put confidence in the other manager when they have to face me. But I ain’t no Mickey Mantle.)
Last week was absurd. Panic attack on Sunday just thinking about what was to come—two Dr. appointments on Monday (with PROFOUNDLY GOOD NEWS), Rehab on Tues, Psych on Wed, DEAR LORD TONS OF (IMPORTANT) ERRANDS ON THURS, and on Fri I successfully did freelance work for the first time in months. It felt damn good to accomplish that. More coming today. (Small but let’s start that way and make sure the work is done with solidity and measure.)
Not been posting but always lurking. My honest feelings for those going through trouble (too many to type correctly—deaths of family members/dogs, moving parents whose health is declining, work issues, and many more) and I hope for the best for everyone.
Right back atcha.
^What Rhy said
Ditto.
It’s actually not that bad! Like…seriously. not that bad. I’m hitting about .280.

Seriously, get well soon!
I should have put my batting average MUCH lower than .280. MIKE TROUT HIT .291 in 2019! I ain’t that solid!
Joking, duh. Thanks, buds! Heading back to Indiana in about a month! Then Lady and I are (most likely) shipping back off to Korea. You guys are the best. (Like last Mon when I got good news from doctors, I’m honestly about to cry as I did then just again posting here.)
Ugh, don’t get emotional! ‘Tell Bill to have a Coke and a smile and shut the fuck up!’
Glad the recovery is chugging along, Evan! I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible for you as you continue to heal up, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Hey, Evan. Heal up in a hurry! Hope everything goes great for you and Lady.
As long as you’re hitting above the Mendoza line, you’re OK!
Keep getting better
I am glad to hear you are improving! Keep it up.
Always glad to hear good new Evan. Keep on trucking.
Evan, I hope you’re doing well and healing up. If we ever meet up, I’ll pay for the drinks.
Lady has a Dr-taken photo of my skull reattached with titanium wiring keeping all nine bits together…

Evan, in all seriousness, I’m glad you’re feeling better. But sweet Chebus, can you order a gayer drink?

That’s awesome, Evan. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
That’s so good to hear!
It sounds like you are improving. I hope you heal up soon.
Hey, look who’s here and being all happy. Glad to hear it, EfE.
Hey!
Your (and others’) posts remind me of how bad I am at being a foreigner in the Eastern Hemisphere. My Korean is…not great but better than most. Every time I see your posts I think about how good your Japanese is.
My Thai is…so bad it is embarrassing!
Every time I hear immigrants from non English speaking countries speaking nearly fluent English, I’m impressed. Even if it’s just a taxi driver, you gotta tip your hat that they’ve put in the effort.
^^THIS
Boom. Gotta make a living. Paid/laid.I live in the center of tourist/immigrant area Chiang Mai. Don’t expect a great conversation but basic English is almost universal.
^^^ i have a profound respect for those Indian engineer or Filipino call center employees’ language ability now.
N5 on Sunday. I’m thinking about making it an annual event. Maybe N4 in a decade or so.
Here ya go. Just print that out and paste it over your results and *presto* you passed N2. (Didn’t ace it, but good enough). Sorry, can’t find my N1.

Most Americans are unaware that the rest of the world is put on a steady diet of English lessons from a pretty young age. So it’s not all *that* impressive.
The average 12 year old French girl speaks better English than anyone I’m related to #LowBar
Heh I put “City of Lost Children” in the DVR late last night, made it about half-way though. (I’ve never seen it and was not aware it’s in French.)
If I have time I’ll watch the other half tonight.
DVRDVD player ughmon Français sucques
I called the Siemens plant at Le Mans once and was stumbling through formalities; the receptionist cut me off in American, not the king’s English mind you, to begin directing the call.
The steady diet of what American schools put the students on is what? At least these foreign countries are teaching something useful.
I’d rebut this with the fact that English is *way* more useful for the rest of the world than the Spanish that most American kids get.
No need for “rebut”. I agree. Our public schools suck.
Your point is correct. (Though I fundamentally disagree.)
I have lived 12 years in Germany, Korea, Thailand, and have been to many other countries. Korean’s understanding of English is the worst out of all of them. Hands down. It’s a weird place.
Grain of salt: I’m odd and come from an autistic father. I don’t like dealing with other people, regardless of nationality.
OT: Filipinos win the record for highest ration for (ability to pronounce English words) / (ability to understand English). Some can speak English, of course, but there are many of these parrots out there; I’ve been lulled into believing they understand, but they do NOT understand.
We used to outsource a lot of our IT change management to them – that is an interesting accent they have.
My youngest takes on-line English conversation lessons with an English speaking Filipina. Her accent is kinda southern California.
I did four years of Spanish in middle and high school and have little fluency left. I’m still impressed with other’s language ability.
Glad you are doing better.
your optimism and energy will do you well
A great college buddy lost a chunk of skull; never got it or hearing on that side back. He powers through pretty good.
best of luck !
So glad to hear you’re doing well Evan! Hope things keep improving.
Thank you so much!
Docs apparently thought I would never walk again. I started walking AS SOON as I woke up. (Without problem. Nailed that part.) They said 6 months is the expected recovery time. Got about four to go. But everything is going so well so far. Other than weird issues with work and living in Thailand…pretty much I’m beating their expectations.
Good lord, thank you!
Man, that’s terrifying. I’m glad they got that one wrong. Take care of yourself!
Really glad to see you posting and hearing that you doing better than expectations. Charlie Mike! (Continue to March – ie; don’t stop now)
Evan! So happy to hear from you! You’ve been missed – every so often someone asks, “Has anyone heard from Evan?” And thrilled to hear that you’re improving! Thanks for checking in, and please keep us posted when you can. Take care!
Rooting for you, man.
Great to hear!
Keep up the good work.
So glad to gear from you and that you are doing well! FANTASTIC!!!

When you go around your boss to speak with his boss you had better have your stuff squared away.
I had a toxic boss once. I was too chicken to go around him. When he left, everybody was relieved.
These people need to remember who they work for. If Trump does nothing else, reminding the career bureaucrats who they work for will be a win.
They work for the People. I almost typed that with a straight face.
You think they care who they work for?
I can dream.
From what I’ve seen, the average low level worker doesn’t. Many of them actually care about the taxpayer, but no matter who is in charge, the day-to-day doesn’t change a whole lot.
How about just firing someone instead of asking for a resignation?
Not to mention the Secnav’s actions might be construed as undue command influence before it even started.
I have finally returned from the Great In-Law Camping Excursion of 2019. It was a success. The new-to-us pop-up camper worked like a charm, although there were a few white-knuckle moments on the road, mostly due to other motorists and shitty highways.
It’s always interesting to see who’s slowly but surely getting redpilled or is drifting away from the party line in what’s otherwise a stolidly Democrat-voting family. More fun, however, is being off the grid and hanging out around a fire having a few drinks, talking, and watching dogs and kids run around. It really is good to get away from politics and the news and all that shit. Plus, it’s up in the mountains in a pretty part of the state outside of the megalopolis.
Camping does seem to take the edge off of what can be contentious discussions. We’re gonna need a new color pill soon. What color is apathy?
Gray? Ecru?
Burgundy and gold.
/HTTR
Who cares what color it is?
Whatever color you want, I don’t care.
Brown, as in who gives a shit.
Works for me – mostly because it would be problematic to come up with a color for the total lack of fux.
Damn, I could go for some camping.
Me too!
Here in Japan my kids’ lives are way too scheduled. Just to get a weekend away would involve fighting the missus on all the activities my boys would be skipping. And she likes camping too.

so batshit that the motives, rationales, and plans cannot be deduced
Wrong on all counts.
That is largely due to a massive decline in infant mortality. Life expectancy for those who made it through law school is greater now, but not “more than twice” as great. IOW, the author is an idiot.
Psst. That’s the point! Haven’t we done enough damage second-guessing those dead old white slave-holders already?
undemocratic by nature
who wants a democracy ?
You sure you want a vote on that?
“Broad bipartisan support!”
I’m reminded why I stopped reading NR regularly a couple decades ago. (I picked up the bad habit again in the last year or so but ugh they can be trying.)
Again, they feature a pretty broad swathe of views (although they appear to have dropped Michelle Malkins column).
If you’re not reading NRO, I don’t know where else you’ll read Kevin Williamson or Charles “immigrants make better constituionalists” Cooke .
Bingo. It’s a little depressing how few people understand how “life expectancy *at birth*” works.
And bingo. The founders read the ancient political historians and theorists (a habit contemporaries appear to have lost). They didn’t want a democracy – they wanted a republic. Which definitionally includes an “aristocratic” element.
Ok, Athenian Boomer
Well, akshually – Athens was what they were trying to avoid. /adjusts pince nez
Akshually what Athens called a democracy was a more limited electorate than ours.
Well, sure. The difference in ancient political thought between democracy and Republic was in the structure rather than the franchise – and we are absolutely a republic. When moderns criticise “undemocratic” elements of the American setup – life tenure, judicial review, the electoral college – they rarely acknowledge (or perhaps are aware) that those elements were included *because* they’re not democratic.
Sorry but this is a pet peeve of mine. A Republic is simply a State without a Monarch. Oligarchies are Republics as are pure Democracies and everything in between. The essential element of our system is not the Republican form, it is the elevation of law over the electorate, in other words the Constitution.
Anarchy = no ruler
Monarchy = one ruler
Republic = rule by some set of the public. It does not need to a large set, nor does it need to be a small set.
“Haven’t we done enough damage second-guessing those dead old white slave-holders already?”
No.
To wit, the average age of death for the first group of Supreme Court justices, those under John Jay including himself, was 65 years. Two made it to their 80s, and the average would be around 70 if not for two who didn’t make it past their 40s (one of whom declined the appointment and thus never sat on the court). Yes, some people died young, but the sort of people who wrote the document and carried out its functions in the early years generally didn’t (Jefferson and Adams, who famously died the same day, lived to be 83 and 90, respectively).
These hate crimes are getting kind of lame.

drilling circles around Gavin
. . . since taking office in January, Newsom’s own department of energy management has approved 33 percent more new oil and gas drilling permits than were approved under Newsom’s predecessor Jerry Brown over the same period in 2018 . . . Newsom responded quickly to the news, firing the head of the approving agency for employing regulators who owned stock in oil companies, and directing the department to stop approving fracking permits. Since June 28, California hasn’t cleared any new hydraulic fracturing projects.
My guess: very old leases there cover a ton of property each and are very easy to manage, so those are some of the lowest-overhead plays in which to implement new tech.
Impoverishing your subjects is tough job but someone’s gotta do it.

Things like this drive me crazy. Why bother having laws?

Nope. Beijing is in total control of the position(s) that matter.
So, I finally got around to watching the SNL democratic debate. It was actually reasonably funny. They enjoyed poking mild fun at all of the wacky characters from the DNC. I mean, they’re all very lovable and wonderfully smart and just terrific and everything, but they have mild quirks that we can smile at.
Except Tulsi gabbard. Her? She was portrayed as scary. They literally called her Cruella Deville.
Not Kamala Harris, who literally got people killed and wrecked lives for political gain as a prosecutor. Nope, Tulsi gabbard is the scary one.
What the hell is wrong with you.
Honest truth?
I left an episode of louder with Crowder running in the background while I was doing the dishes and Google automatically rolled me to the SNL skit.
I’ll give them this, it was funnier than louder with Crowder.
Damn. And, I like Steven.
Tulsi is evil! She thinks Islamics have the right to live and choose their own leaders while still living in their homelands. All good thinkers know that Islamics in their homelands should be warred upon mercilessly for their own good. They get rights only after they migrate.
I really found it interesting that the only one that anyone around here would have anything positive to say about was the only one that they had anything actually negative to say about.
I forgot to mention, the great laugh out loud thing they are lampooning Senator Warren for? That she has lots of energy and it is really competent. Ha! Ha!
That is so funny! I don’t know how they do it! Elizabeth Warren is so high energy! What a knee-slapper!
Well, to be fair, even they are hard-pressed to make humor out of totalitarianism so they had to go with something more superficial.
Finally got around to listening to this. Most, anyways. Wolfe just hand waves away very specific criticisms of his proposed system. His main argument is, “Socialism is good because we need to improve.”
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YJQSuUZdcV4
I listened at the time. It was pretty good… At confirming that I dont understand how anyone could possibly believe that socialism is a good idea without being mentally ill.
He is one helluva demagogue, I’ll give him that.
For a while I would listen to Richard Wolff on local commie radio as I drive a lot. I liked the idea of knowing your enemy’s argument better than they do. I had to stop as I found myself throwing things at the radio. He is an excellent rhetorician. His main flaw (aside from supporting a horrific system) is that he can only point to the negative outcomes of “capitalism” not any real positives from his ideal.
The other thing I noticed:
They had Bernie Sanders going on a rant about how the top 2% doesn’t have to get up to turn out the light because they have The Clapper. He said, if everybody doesn’t get a Clapper then nobody gets a Clapper.
The audience applauded fairly robustly, clearly in agreement with the sentiment that second grade chewing gum rules should apply to All Things anywhere in America. If you didn’t bring enough for everybody to have one, nobody gets one.
Who would have thought that of the three visitors, England would be the one to take the biggest loss?
In the Molly Mormon craft department … a tree skirt that I have been hand-quilting (yes, I do that) on and off for the last five years and was 2/3 done with was, some indeterminate amount of time ago, peed on by a cat. It was old, yes, but it stank and the only reason I noticed was because I happened to open my plastic-coated project bag. I had to throw it, the bag, and an entire spool of Guterman quilting thread away.
Contradictorally, that project had lingered on so long I was getting guilt feelings about it and was almost glad to have an excuse to ditch it.
I was looking in the project bag for a crochet hook so I wouldn’t have to go downstairs to get one. And I needed this crochet hook to repair XY’s afghan that I made him a couple of years ago at his request. Now, the reason it unraveled was my mistake—I cut the tails of the ends too close and the knots came undone.
Well! After about 3 solid hours of crocheting, my “repaired” rotator cuff made itself known. By hour 4, it refused to take one more triple crochet. I still have quite a bit left to do.
Coincidentally, this is the reason I haven’t worked on my quilted Christmas tree skirt in so long. It’s heavy and my hand has to travel a long way around a big hoop to stitch it.
Clearly I need more physical therapy and strength training if I’m ever going to be able to crochet, quilt, sew, or embroider ever again.
On the plus side, I did do something constructive today besides organizing my apocalypse preps pins on Pinterest since, you know, the Chiefs had a bye week.
Glad to see Evan’s well on the mend.
Diggy, better luck this week.
I see GT’s going commando for her bike riding adventures.
Yusef! Good vibes to you this week, my dude.
Wishing everyone else a good week too.
Lastly, we all might have our problems but at least we know what this is for and not to order one off eBay.
I have a pile of Tramadol leftover from Jugsy’s dead doge.
That may help you.
I have some of that, too, and it works, but I didn’t think of it and just downed my nightly dose of 4 Tylenol PMs.
So sorry to hear about your sabotaged project (cat pee does indeed call for a hazmat team) and your rotator cuff. I’d be bummed if something happened that kept me from being able to knit or crochet, so I hope you can get some relief.
And yeah….the whole commando thing…is it weird that now that I think about it, I’m looking forward to it…??
No? And after a couple of rides, you won’t even think about it any more.
You have to admit, the juxtapositioning (not a euphemism. totally.) of that is rather
interestingfunny! I found it funny…Thank you, Mo.
Two quick inputs-
I assume someone has shown you how to do isolation strengthening exercises for
(cont’)
the rotor cuff. If not please let me know
Have you done any kettlebell exercises? They’re great for strength training for natural movements as well as cardio.
I’m sure they have, but I likely lost the paper. I did have PT after surgery.
This is something that I would be doing on an on-going basis. The problem with the rotor cuff is how it generally just tensions to support but doesn’t contract so much. It needs to be strengthened and to do that it has to go through contractions under load.
The strengthening exercise for a rotor cuff doesn’t feel like much but it really makes a difference.
The Packers seem to lose their gameplan in baggage check upon arriving in California, on the bright side I recorded the audio for a new show. I’m pushing the deadline to get it to the overlords in time, but hopefully the hook will catch the wire.
+1 navy aviation
Quoting a good Wisconsin boy in a forgotten Tom Selleck movie.
I was only there to hate-watch SF. Oh well.
Verizon/Disney commercial; cue little girl:
“Star Wars is my life!”
*bangs head into wall, repeatedly*
I cannot believe, as a man in his mid-30s with a life size R2-D2 and a Dearth Vader Helmet who did several fan edits of the prequels over the last decade, that Disney has not managed to make one thing Star Wars related I like. I own all 20 whatever Marvel movies. I find even the worst ones are better than most of the shit made these days. But Disney has done so bad with Star Wars that I can’t believe it.
Gay.
Well, you got me there. You and your damned logic!
Fucking tricknology, keeping the white man down!
So, you’re down…?
/asking for a friend
They’ve turned it into something kids demand their parents drag them to, and thereby doubled their profits. I mean, let’s face it, kids have been driving Hollywood for awhile now.
I liked Solo.
So there.
This isn’t your usual time frame, what brings you here so early?
And the Tight Ends, am I right!
LOL I remember that one. Hawt.
How low we have fallen as a culture. (Yeah, I know it’s cheesy but what Millennials or Zoomers would do any of that now?)
I’m 36, my oldest niece is 20. Somehow we’re the same ‘generation’, this is some astrology bullshit! (FUCK YOU TOP HATTED MOUSE!)
“Chuck Norris pinned by my dad”
There is some serious street cred
Also, totally not the picture I was expecting.
/…..What??
Spud, if you’re still around: did I mention we also scored a Tempier Bandol Blanc and a Guigal Condrieu (if you can’t drink the Condrieu you love, baby, love the Condrieu you drink)? I’ve been craving a Condrieu from one of our favorites but nothing seems to make it here.
Still mulling over main course for Thursday. We already have the carb and fat bomb celeriac gratin cued up, so that steers me away from things like risotto or a ragout on polenta. Ideas?
After tonight’s game check your bed for rusty tin can lids, SP probably has some anger to work out.
Does your mom remember you are have a shitty meatless lifestyle? Or is that something you can present as new to her every night?
Got the Christmas lights up on along the roof today. Only a single line along one side and a end gable. Icicle lights hang like crap out of the box.
They do, indeed. I prefer the multicolored icycles. The cobalt blue C9 lights they have now are awful.
icicles*
My icicles are the mini bulbs. I think I got the yellowish white unicolor ones to mimic incandescent. Waiting until next Friday to turn them on and I can’t remember the warmth. C7 in classic Christmas multicolor smooth bulb for the main string. I wish I could find C9 but the store didn’t have them in smooth. All LED now. 🙁

C’mon, man–you can muster more enthusiasm for that, can’t ya?!
Yawn.
Screw your obligations for me–I’ll make the determination, not you, or any other power-seeker.
Trigger Warning: Hayeksplosives domestic friction rant.
TL: DR version— mr Splosives is a dick. And then nice. Rapid cycler. Never know what I’m gonna get,
H, fuck it . The TZl:Dr version is rnough
Yeesh…sorry, M’Lady.
Maybe crack open a bottle, and have a tipple…?
Too late?
Oh….Hmmm. Well, frustration can account for that, as well. But, for her sake, I suppose I hope you’re correct.
Men go through the equivalent of a
MinstrelMenstrual cycle every day. And there is a male equivalent of menopause, but on that same cycle. But we shan’t talk about that…SCIENCE!All things considered, I would hope and pray that her travails are a matter of what you’ve mentioned.
So many of us seem to be having woes and whatnot, so, here’s to persevering and positive resolutions.

If I didn’t see the bright side of life, well I’d say Brian got a better deal than me.
Dude-bro…you my man, fifty grand. I would venture that you have a better existence than being crucified by the Roman State, even if you didn’t see Eric’s masterpiece of MP music.
I mean, you have Red Dog, dawg!
Way to step on my joke, Jasper Crimony! Can I ask the Glib’s Union for a sidekick who will set me up with better jokes? We’re unionized, right? Or is OMWC just cashing my checks to buy lollipops!?
Great! Fine! Trade me in, like a used Pacer, whydoncha?
/you add one “h”, by mistake, and it all goes kaput….one!!
I’ve been up for like 20 hrs and drank more than ha;f a case of Red Dog. Not all me hokes can be winners,
Or, sentences!
Go sleep it off, ya rummy.
Y’all are wonderful peeps!!
Thank you.
I went a bit off course, myself. Also, wish I could find a Peeps emoji.
Well, hope everything is a bit calmer for ya.
hs, that’s what I used to say a very long time ago in a past relationship. Long after we parted ways, he was diagnosed as bipolar. IANAP, but is that in the realm of possibility? I know so many people who have been so diagnosed and are open about it. Otherwise, you might never guess. Happily, it CAN be well controlled, and depending on the chemicals employed, be controlled with minimal side effects.
I think I’ve told you the sum total of what I know about it, which is almost nothing, but maybe it’s worth considering? Please forgive me if this is presumptuous on my part.
*Sits alone and unloved* *TAKES THE RED PILL* WOMAN BE BITCHES!
You’re not completely alone – you’ve got us! Sort of…I guess…
There’s always the blue pill, too.
Ooooh….is it a liqui-gel capsule? ‘Cause, in the movie, those looked like liqui-gels…
Mmmm Gel caps.
I thought it was NyQuil vs DayQuil in that scene…
Hmmm….you could be correct on that.
The difference is like night and day, so…
It’s past my bedtime, so I need to bug out of here. I hope things calm down for you and that you find some resolution, fellow Glibbroad!
Nighty night!
Get some good rest, GT.
Thx, Diggy! : )
? Mucho welcome.
A Glib told me to pay it forward, my sister is in a bad way, I helped, you guys are awesome
You’re awesome, too, Yu. Sorry that you’re sister is in having trouble(s)–it seems to be going around, in one form or another.
Keep on keepin’ on.

“Published 4 days ago”??? Well, that’ll larn me! I probably missed it during AM Lynx last week. Doggone commute & day job!
Got anything to shut up talkative cublicle neighbors who make every phone call on speakerphone and have no sense of shame?
Nothing offhand that won’t earn you a trip to HR.
If they get really personal, you could helpfully shout out some pertinent advice. “Some hydrocortisone might help that rash!”
Their lack of shame only means that sort of comment would encourage them.
Yikes! In that case, earbuds & soothing music? Someone needs to market earbuds cleverly disguised as hearing aids.
Time for me to go finish cleaning up for work. My wish for all y’all early morning (US EST or otherwise) commentariat & lurkerati is the day of your choosing!
