Lots of bad news in the skies this week, but much of it is annoyingly unspecific. Saturn-Venus-Luna can mean the end of a relationship, a decrease in passion in a current relationship, Lesbian Bed Death, menopause, or a relationship getting out of a sexual rut that it’s been in. Mars aligning with Mercury and the Earth can mean a soldier returning home, a soldier being called up from hoe to go to war, or your neighbors have a domestic disturbance that causes you problems. Sagittarius continues its karmic benevolence from last week, though less so, and for those born under this sign, this week will be a bit less than optimal (though still very good). Capricorn will be lucky in love purely by accident. The moon in Aquarius brings an enhancement to water in all of its forms.
I somehow made it out of town without my deck, and also have to write this up on a phone. While a lesser man would use that as an excuse to not provide you with that personal advice that you’ve come to depend on, I won’t let you down. I don’t have any suitable scapulae available, and my hosts wouldn’t appreciate the ritual evisceration that a good haruspex requires. Plus I’d need to do it twelve times, and that would cut into my holiday budget. There are many systems of divination based on the casting of tonnes, probably the most famous of which is the I Ching. I’m not going to cast that one either. Instead, I’m going to use a stripped-down version of the Celtic oracular casting sticks, or more specifically: coins. The prescient precision is imperfect with this, but the results should be just as reliable as any major technique.

Decided to watch Jack Ryan season 2. Turned off 3/4 of the way through the first episode. They decided to portray the failure of Venezuela as the result of a right wing dictator and the good guys as social justice warriors. Too bad, the first season was decent, now it’s just propaganda.
I have been tempted to start that numerous times but suspected they couldn’t make it as good as the first season which I thought was very good. What a bummer they went there.
The twist ending for the second season was complete bullshit an not needed. I noticed the right wing slant and ignored it. The second season felt like it was written by committee.

I think my interest in the L.P. Is looking at 2024. Having someone who is principled in line with ballot access and some name recognition may be important then. Close your eyes and think of what a shitshow will be served up after trumps 2nd term. Pence ain’t hacking it. Trump is going to have the effect Obama had on the dems party.
I have a hard enough time seeing ahead to a year from now, much less five years from now. Principled is great, but in the general, people tend to go more for charisma and other intangibles. I think there is an opening for a non-interventialist. Maybe some drug war and justice reform as well. Hopefully there is still some people out there that care about the debt.

Yeah, it’s kind of looking that way. He’s not half as bad as many of his detractors think, but there are enough people turned off by him that it’s having an impact. Only time can tell, and things may look quite different after a second term, but so far the Republicans are in retreat after hitting an apparent zenith in 2016. He’s not directly at fault for all of it though, there’s a lot more people than usual still bitter about him winning the primary.
